Nah, I'd definitely stay with that type of sausage. But personal preference. Perfect little fill you up in the middle of nowhere. Can't beat it. Thanks for sharing Dave.
I personally like mine a bit on the crispy side. And instead of oil, I usually use a fatty sausage like chorizo (it's different here in the USA compared to yours) and toss in either onion or cherry tomato halves, saute together, then the eggs. It's a highly underrated way to start the day!
So what do you do to wash up your Trangia? Do you part clean it, then clean it fully once home? When you are out for more than one day, how do you clean your Trangia pans?
Thanks a great question. Most times I only cook one meal when I'm out for the day, so put everything back in the orange trangia bag and wash everything as soon as I get home. If I'm out for more days I'm usually staying at a campsite, so wash up as soon as I've finished cooking at their facilities. 👍
Good video .I love my trangia27 but I find that if I try to make a omelette I almost all ways burn it so now I just scramble the eggs. Just as good. And you can fit 2 eggs in at a time. Also try putting one teaspoon of dry pancake mix in the eggs it makes them more filling.and tast good to cheese. And a shallot would be great too .shit now I hungry. Have fun your country side looks wonderful.
