If you watch the whole credits there is a whole new crew for the second round of production listed after the words Phase 2 show up it's literally a whole movie's worth of general crew, second unit directors, camera men, set designers, set builders, effects artists sound editors, music supervisors etc.
I wasn't a big movie fan back when this came out, I was very selective. I only watched movies that I was sure I'd like. Then I saw this and went wow, so this is what seeing a bad movie is like.
also worth noting that they make that big “they made it to the city!” scene when reed moves to the baxter building, and then within minutes we learn it’s less than an hour away from where they were lmao

Aha, the only thing worth liking is when the first get there powers. That body horror aspect was done well, and the facility getting attacked was handled right in tone but god, that choreography is trash

I live in asian, i didn't know if this movie exist until today, where am i this last 5 years, am i from another planet ? Should i watch this movie? and If i watch this movie will it bring traumatic memory for me, please, give me a clue...
Am I the only one that thought it was ok it was a rush-job and reshot and recut near the conclusion, but I have seen movies that are the same in quality that were just a bit longer that made more money. Had it made $600 million even as butchered as it is people would be pretentiously exalting it. and hating it at the same time. I'd say it's average. Most "Bad" studio movies fall in the average category, if they were TV movies they would be fine, in order for a movie to be worth seeing in theaters for $30.00 it has to be full on awesome.

I had a similar experience. After seeing this I vowed to never to pay for a film again without doing research on production first.
Ironically that is how I felt when I watched The Rise of the Silver Surfer as a kid.

The best Fantastic Four movie is The Incredibles.
If Disney would have waited the pandemic would’ve taken out Fox anyways and the rights would’ve reverted back to Disney
