I did this in spring 2021. I succeeded did The 75 days portion control as my diet. I did lose 13 lbs and gained half back from June through September before starting keto November. I’ve also been trying to also do some weight lifting. My other one goal I’ve started working on is to do at least one pull up. Now that I’m 63 I’m hoping to continue this for a long time.

I've been struggling with fasting the last two weeks. So I'm just going as long as I can and listening to my body. Has Scott thought about rucking. I've never heard of it until recently. I love walking and I do walk at home videos. Use to be walk away tye pounds. The videos created by Leslie Sansone. She's amazing and have been using them for over 20 years.
Keep staying strong. I also cringed when I heard you doing the hard 75 but felt better for you saying you know to balance your electrolytes!! Good job.

@@CarnivorousMe1 yeah, I like that concept myself as well. But thought about rucking because I'm training for my hike and it came up.
Another question. Now take it with stride for why I'm asking. I'm only seeing glimpses. Are you sure you're eating enough and not skipping back into diet mentality. You're super active. Now granted I really don't see all your food choices but I can tell you I eat way more than you, not as active and 150 lbs.
But I also don't tolerate fat as well with having no gallbladder.
I've been thinking about you and your stall and thought I'd mention it from someone who's been there with crazy stalls.
Also I mentioned before. Dairy! Food sensitivities will stall you more than anything else. They are annoying and frustrating as well.
Like I said, just some random suggestions from someone who's been at this a long time and has done tons of different protocols because I find it fascinating in how the body responds to things.
Otherwise keep being amazing. I'm here cheering you on!

For your dog: it would help if the food & water bowls were elevated (if they’re not already) & as my dog aged and had times when he had pain (either from moving weird or arthritis, etc), I gave him 1/2 to whole baby aspirin. Being anti inflammatory it really helped

I LOVE your kindness & your channel is great.
…. I know you have since made the incredibly tough choice & had your sweet girl put to sleep. But please please, in the future, don’t take an old dog to a chiropractor. As they age, their bones become brittle exactly as an elder human. Sometime their bones are paper thin. Any pressure or adjustment can “impinge” a nerve & cause absolute non ending pain. This could have happened anyway, so have no guilt, but an adjustment is simply moving air into & out of joint spaces. Old dogs, old people have “no space”. I’m fine with chiro’s for people & animals who are young. But chiro made the wrong choice…..
I did over 30 years in MRI. Even part time in Vet clinic.
You’ve helped me & normally I would never step out of my lane but I absolutely love dogs so I hope I didn’t offend

I would count each cup of coffee as one entire quart on the one gallon a day goal. 😁
Pushing excess water when the body doesn't require it only makes Life a little more difficult according to advanced thinking such as that of Ken Berry MD, who is going with "drink when you're thirsty" these days.

    • @CarnivorousMe1

LOL, i bet scott would too!! I found for myself when I follow the "drink when im thirsty" I get super constipated (bc i knew you wanted to know that LOL), as well as suffer from headache from not enough water. The gallon is bc of the amount of exercise and sweating as well as helps IMMENSELY with satiety! Plus i go the bathroom easier now lol

You are a short woman and we short women should NOT drink that much water - it’s called Hyperhydrosis and will set your electrolytes out of balance. Just because this guy said to do it doesn’t not mean it is healthy. Including exercise with no rest for 75 days. Even the settlers took days off to rest before continuing their journey. I am not here to rain your goals but suggest 75 EASY instead might be a better plan. Men are not women and if you see your over stressing your body and regressing STOP!!!

    • @CarnivorousMe1

Hyperhydrosis happens most of the time when we drink a massive amount in a small window of time, the gallon is over the entire day. I SWEAT a TON while walking/hiking/exercise and am finding I feel much better drinking this much (will it always be a gallon probably not but atleast 3/4 Id think!)
