Question here. In the 1st rom hack you played, Super Mario Frustration you mentioned how if you start a level where your falling, you can do a buffer jump. Would that be possible in SMB or SMB2J in the underground levels when you start or is that limited to that game? If so, I’m wondering if that could be a time save if you could do that and get on top of the ceiling to start the level and just start running without having to worry about avoiding enemies.

Hi Kosmic, I wanna know what's your setup? Did you use a PC with emulator app and then just use USB NES controller? Because I watch your video, the graphics is smoother than me, maybe different emulator app?
This is evidence for the fact that being a good speedrunner of mario, doesn't make you a good player in general. The best speedrunners can memorize and get good at tricks, while the best players can adapt and play without major blunders all the time.
