This is what happens when a company prioritizes quarter over quarter profits while sacrificing its soul. The upside is investor return, the downside (for them at least) is that any competitor who is slightly better in any way will lead the pack while everyone is racing to the bottom because they all must demonstrate QoQ profits for their investors. If I were in charge of Pizza Hut I would open 1985 style Pizza Hut flagship locations across the country in NFL cities which are instagramable and lean into the legacy with stained glass lamps, checked plastic tablecloths, salad bars, pizza buffets and pitchers of beer. I would bring people into the Pizza Hut ecosystem through nostalgia and building memories for the next generation. I would also lean heavily into tech with easy ordering and a real pizza tracker. Finally I would develop a fleet of small EV branded delivery cars to bring hot pizza to your door, so you don't have to worry about a random Door Dash driver picking your toppings off. But, I'm not in charge and Pizza Hut will continue its plunge to the bottom!
I can get 2 large for the same price and quality from dominos in half the time, the same money gets me a medium 2 topping from pizza hut. It's that simple.
The reason I I stopped doing pizza hut is that their pizza is more greasy and it always seems undercooked at least here. The people were friendly tho and now i know why all those chairs and tables are staked awkwardly.
Nothing shocking about it. They went from great pizza, to making absolute sh!t. No way most people will pay over $20 for what was once called a "medium" when it is utter trash. There's always at least one good locally owned place to get great food for less money. So why TF would anyone go to Pizza Hut nowadays?

Same issue the world over. Even during my travels to Asia, Pizza Hut was very greasy.
Price and the change with pan pizza.
Bought 2 pizzas last week. Horrrrrrible literally no taste and crust like rubber. Threw them away and went to Little Caesars😀😀😀
Hahahaha. Gourmet Pizza costs about the same.
cost is probably the main factor. Noone wants to pay $60 for a couple pizzas
60$? no way, i refuse to believe that
@@CapitalChronicles98 $74 CAD for 2 pizzas last time I went
@@HudsoniteJessie Isn't $74 CAD like 5 USD?
@@professorbenjaminfranklinv9911 Yeah it's basically Monopoly money but less fun. Currently works out to about $53 USD for 2 pizzas here
@@CapitalChronicles98 Where I am it would be about $50 for 2 large!
Horrid pizza, only went there in highschool because they'd serve us beer.
Hahahaha, classic.
The meat lovers sucks since covid
The quality of ingredients blows
