The floor brush is the same as the one on the E2 Black which is similar in design going back to some variants of the Rainbow SE, just wider and doesn't require a curved wand. As I was watching this video today, I thought I would wash the kitchen mats with the AquaMate 3/4 and my E2 Black. I first vacuumed them with my Kirby Heritage II Legend just to really beat them, pre-treated the mats with solution (I use only water in the AquaMate as this is similar to how the professionals do it with their truck-mounts) and did a thorough rinse and agitation with the Mate in multiple directions. The water was like chocolate milk coming out and fairly opaque.
I love my new rainbow!!!!! I love being able to clean my mattresses and furniture with that smaller attachment. I just got it last week. Haven't really tried to learn the names of the attachments.
Penny Penny so glad to hear it! I love knowing the Rainbow is improving the health of my family, the look, feel and smell of my home. Isn’t it so satisfying seeing what exactly is being removed from your bedding and furniture??
I have the E2 black and D4SE models. The Black is a pain to put together and take apart. The hose is especially troublesome. I LOVE the new model! Wish Rexair took trades. I also need to check the price of a new one! Thanks for the detailed objective information!!
Rusty Andres you’re absolutely right. The newest model, the SRX, is by far the easiest to use and maintain. Previous models could be quite cumbersome to take apart and put back together for use. My local distributor “takes trades”. They give a couple hundred for ANY brand vacuum, and a couple hundred more for any Rainbow machine. I think they build it into their retail price of $3200, but it makes people feel good when they get so much for an old machine, working it not. They also guarantee a minimum $800 trade value toward any future machine when trading in your SRX (It has to be originally purchased from them at their retail price). I don’t expect another new machine for many years.
I would think it would take a very very long time to have any negative effect on a septic system if ever. The house we lived in at the time these videos were made, was on septic. We were consistent about flushing those septic tank additives for increased bacterial flora. I've recently gotten into a habit of dumping all the water waste from the water basin into the toilet and the hairball chunky stuff into the trash can. I'm probably overly cautious, but I started doing it to avoid any potential clogged pipes.
Baking soda is not a realistic test. Doing a propr test in a lived in home pulling the carpet back you can see the results as the rainbow pulls the dirt from the floor it takes time but it will remove more dirt over a 30 day period of use. Then your normal machines over a 12 to 18 month period. Do not put powder on your floors.
I want to buy a rainbow but I feel like I’m donating large sums of money to a pyramid scheme....helping people get rich. Can you help me justify such high a high purchase price?
Allen M there’s no doubt, when you buy a brand new machine at full retail, there are people making money along the way. With that said, when you buy anything, multiple hands are making money along the way. It’s all honest business, nothing fishy or misleading, so I wouldn’t put Rainbow in the “pyramid scheme” category. The price point is just higher with Rainbow Products so it feels harder to stomach. If you want to save some $$, check out the gently used SRX Rainbows on eBay or maybe even your local classifieds. I would even recommend a model prior to the SRX. They’re still amazing machines. You’ll save more, the further back you go.
@@rainbowinsight1017 just to make the point that even older rainbows are awesome: I've had the original rainbow E series (the single speed one) for 16 years and other than a power nozzle motor replacement, it has been flawless. It outperforms every other vacuum that my parents have attempted to replace it with. I told them the only way I'm letting them get rid of this rainbow is for another one to take it's place.
Smurdle450 thats amazing! Rainbows are certainly built to last and perform exceptionally all along the way. The only reason to ever get rid of one is to get a newer one. Stay strong 💪🏽

hi how often do you need to replace the hepa filter?
Does this s clog a septic system? I love pouring it down the toilet! Thanks!
