You look like a skilled rider. Do you have a regular 450--gas engine? I'd be interest in how the extra weight of the electric (35-40 lbs) bike feels relative to a 450.
Stark varg is lighter and more powerful the KTM 450’s actually especially if you get the 80HP version
@@AneroFilms It's not lighter. He weighed it in an earlier video and it's 263 lbs--that's about 35 lbs. heavier than the KTM. Plus that extra weight affects how it handles.
@@Adamec504 That would be dry weight.
Having on ridden an Alta MXR, it felt comparable to a 125 when riding. There’s no rotational mass beneath you adding to the feel of extra weight. The weight may be more on paper but you would think it’s much lighter than a 450 on track.
Looks awesome. Wow, the 450s have finally met their match, they will be toast against this.
80hp 😮mind blown 🤯 what a machine 🤟🤠
Man, I am SOOOOOOOO close to ordering one of these!!!!!
Looks like the nose dives down alot off jumps. Or is that just your riding style?
It doesnt, thats just my style
@@bwhaskell looks fun man!
@bwhaskell yeah I see you hit rear brake in air to make nose dive. Too bad you didn't put on handlebar
Does the screen display on the handlebar clamp show you a picture of a pad when riding it? LOL
Cool to see a Stark in the US, loving the content.
It's sounds like my mtb dh tire noise and even motor sound like hud noise pretty cool looks way faster the Alta
What’s it like compared to the Alta?
Better in pretty much every way. Range, handling, stock suspension, ergos, thermals, looks. Better
so how long did you charge between motos, and what did you end the day with. any numbers to share with us.
Just put a tow hitch on your Tesla- I have 3 rail- my plan is to put the gen in middle with 450 and Stark outside. I currently tow with my Y - way nicer/ easier trip to the track. The model 3 would be easy as well. Did you order suspension to your weight ? Gear or no gear? - according to Stark site? I think you will put on the hand brake and not look back. Maybe you can tell us thoughts on ideal generator?
Would rather not use my Model Y to tow the bikes. I do use it sometimes going MTB with a hitch mounted bike rack, but thats about it.
Need minimum 4000watt continuous to get the full charge rate out of the Varg charger.
I use my Y for my bike but I just slide a motorcycle carrier in the hitch. Helmet, boots, chest protector etc go in the frunk. It's so easy.
@@FerrellMcCollough Yes, the hitch is - according to Tesla 180# max. I have read elsewhere that it can handle higher weight. Good to know you have not had any problems. I have one I put on the RV, maybe give it a try on the Y. The Y makes the drive to the track much easier, more pleasant, saves $( track fees have gone up), and no gas stop to fill up the pickup. Once you drive electric, ICE sucks.
@@bwhaskellF150 Lightning has 9.6kw output in the bed. Could charge 2 Vargs at the same time lol
@@Tazdeviloo7 yup saw that! Im holding out for my Tesla CyberTruck
I would love to see this compete in MXGP.

Gunna need a bell!
Awsome! Imagine having an electric car that you can charge the bike with at the track
Soon you can.. it's called a cybertruck..
@@markkennard861 in Europe they already do it ! You have to bring the bike on a trailer tho.. but there are 4-5 cars on the market that allow you to charge various stuff 💪
Vehicle to load, vehicle to grid, etc. Every ev will have this in the coming years
F150 lighting full: 131 kwh
VARG: 6 kwh
Thats a lot of charges 😅 no need for generator
@@TimothyApe yeah 💪
Actually sounds freeken awesome!
how does it jump, nose dive or boner air compared to a regular bike?
10:42 how does it work with the generator?
How much gas does it take to recharge the bike? It would be nice if you say something about it in the next videos.
I like!
A generator?! I guess that's the reality until tracks start installing EV chargers? Though if you bought an EV truck as well, like the new Ford Lightning, you could charge off of that.
It actually sounds kind of cool... like distorted 2-stroke audio that has been sped up. I would hate to see you endo and smash your helmet into that bar mounted Android device. I've asked you before about that and you said you can ride without the phone docked. Do they have a special bar pad? I ask because with or without the phone docked, it still looks like it would be gnarly hitting your face on that. Yes, the suspension seems strong and the bike super-fast. I would to own a Stark Varg for just the feature of being able to adjust horsepower and engine breaking. Oh yeah, 100% torque, 100% of the time I'm sure is epic. I'm glad to see that you really didn't encounter any haters, that most everyone are giving you the thumbs up. I wonder how the vet class is going to feel when you wax them on that thing? I can perhaps see some rule changes coming. IDK?
PS: It would cool for you to do a lap time comparison of you on a ICE 450 vs. your Stark Varg?
Are you going to hit any trails on the Varg?
how tall are you? It looks like a 85 big wheel 17:43 lol
Im 6'1"
Good ride!!
Envious of your riding skill. Very smooth, you make it look easy. The bike looks amazing! Well planted and gobs of power. You really see it coming out of the turns and going immediately into a long jump.
Thanks for sharing definitely worth a sub and a like!
Thanks! Im just a Vet Expert rider in the mid 30s having fun!
@@bwhaskell just turned 40 myself. I ride with two people in their early 30's and they love that the old dude is still out ripping. I ride mainly Enduro and woods (tech and fast). Never tried MX but it looks like a blast!
2:45 I have to give you credit personally, (I hate the varg man, not you, but I would not sell them my time.).
Almost nobody will film themself getting on a tall bike today, and you did it well. It looks like your still practicing a bit, but you did it well. :)
I lowered my YZ a bit, and love a real off camber corner again. :)
Maybe you mentioned in the vid and I did here 60 hp setting, so is that the 60hp one or the 80? looks like it is an awesome bike Ill probably be on one in a couple years
My bike is the Alpha 80hp version, but so far 60hp map feels like the sweet spot to me on motocross tracks ive ridden so far. Will be trying out others as i get more seat tome.
Imagine if they figured out a way to put the generator in the bike frame.
Imagine if they could get rid of the battery and electric motor and use just the engine from a big generator to power the motorcycle.
@@johnnyrebellion8672 I think you're on to something.
@@Dat_Sun hey, just ignite the fuel tank and you'll holeshot right across the paddock....

19% less accu for 3 laps?
I think the battery SOC% fluctuates a bit right now. It needs refinement imo.
I like it , but it sounds like there might be a couple squirrels in there generating the power. Very interesting and our future .
Is the charging stand wireless?
No
Yes, it will hold the bike with wires.
I meant without wires.
You don't want it to be wireless for charging, less efficient, gets hot, and most importantly slower.

I guess you felt like a rock star, I know the feeling of having the first 4 stroke standup jet ski and all eyes were on me, loving eyes, hating eyes, next month your stardom will go away when theres a bunch of starks out there, thanx for the video bryan, did you find you did faster lap times with 50 horses then sixty horses, I know you will get used to more power later but just asking
Great video mate. These bikes aren't light , as a potential future buyer can you please give me a honest description about how the weight feels. Thanks mate.
Honestly, you dont feel the weight riding it. Only on the stand, and its not really that bad lifting off and on the stand. On the track it feels nimble and flickable due to almost no engine inertia.
Sick riding! Do you plan to do an enduro video ?
Get some! Dope asf and looks like you got a handle on it real good. Any CR500 out there to eat;P
Where the other guys all out of fuel or is that battery powered rocket just that quick? Dont answer that, I already know! Been waiting to see more of this monster! What a beast! Would be perfect for me, I can put it down to 15 hp or crank it to what? 80? and anything inbetween... I'd probably undo my self at 20 hp, I'll be honest! xD
