The quality and realness of your videos are unmatched, each day you are inspiring more and more people to join the hobby, keep doing what you are doing because you are doing amazingly!
All good things come to an end eventually, im sure a lot of people are sad about it but this was truly an amazing era, i still hope iron man and war machine is still in your heart, love the content
I'm glad that as I'm assembling my own Mk.39 that I have your experience and build log to play along with. You've given me an absolute bottomless toolbox of experience and ideas to work with as I go about approaching or troubleshooting the same things. I know that all good things come to an end, and it's good for us to move on from something we've worked on who's product has plateaued in its potential. It's how we grow. Anyhow sir Frank, onwards and upwards! Always enjoy your content ^_^
This was the exact project that got me started not only in the hobby, but my suit. Ive been coming back to these videos for inspiration on how to strap it mainly. Couldn't be more proud for you to have finally seen this suit through and i guess this final video sparked my reactor again. Ill go back to my mk39 and give it the love it deserves. Thanks for everything Frank and the work you do has inspired 1+ million people to persue their dreams like you did for me. This series was my inspiration and its a bittersweet feeling knowing this is the last one. I really hope to get mine done by summer and it would be another dream to meet you someday. All the best for you, your wife, and your channel. Good skills!
Thanks for showing that things can be very easy and doable if you set your mind to it. It's a cool achievement to finalize a project and call it "done". Congratulations!
I absolutely love the Mk39 and I've been following yours since it was an idea. I'd only hope to ever get the helmet done myself. Mk39 is just so clean and overall epic
In the past I have done the same with storing the hand batteries in the back of the hand though I used AAA battery holders from amazon to replace the triangle packs that are built with the tap lights, nothing wrong with making your own though. I've also used c2032 batteries and holders wired in series to replace said pack in tight spaces, they don't have the mah the AAA's do but if you're using a button and they are not on for extended periods they work just fine. Just relaying options.
I did the same with my suit. Once I had it working in the time I needed it I talked about other stuff I could add but just never did because I lost interest.
well dang, i was looking forward to the lights a smoke video because i have no idea how to go about it on mine lol. i do hope that ONE day i can make it to a con that you're at so that i can get a picture with you. You're the reason i started 3d printing and i watched your mk39 videos probably 2,000x to understand what to do being that i just jumped right in to making a full suit with NO 3d print knowledge or even cosplay knowledge. all of your videos help me out and you've been an inspiration to me!! thank you
Some little trick for removing hot glue. Try put some alcohol on it, it will harden and peel off fairly easily. Don't ask me why, just learn it from another youtuber from FPV and it works wonderfully.
I may have to look at the creation of Starboost again. I have a costume that I need to learn how to get out of it again by myself. I need to watch the videos on how you were able to create the chest piece armor and the harness setup.
Take a bow, Starboost - you've performed beautifully! Frank, I'm looking forward to your new suit. Will it be an updated version of your previous one or will you play with different color schemes or anything like that? Also, is there another suit you'd love to build but have the discipline to know you can't build every suit? (asking for no particular reason...)
I feel like I would just walk into that office every day and instead of getting work done I would sit down and mess around with every single prop....idk how you do it
absolutely love everyone of your videos, sad to see this series come to an end but all good things must do so. You have inspired me to make my own iron man suit. While watching I did have one idea for the helmet: what if you cover the eye slits with gold tint, the same way you did your Dr. Fate helmet. if you decide to do it then that's great, if not that's ok too.
It's great to see this done after so much work done on it! Great job! Edit: whenever he mentions katsucon i imagine him breaking down in like iron man 3 😂(3rd episode of asking frank to build the t 45)
It’s not any conciliation to frying that, but it is nice to know the lord of 3d printing/cosplay makes mistakes like the rest of us. lol It happens, keep doing what you do boss! Love it!
Have you thought about experimenting with silicone? I had this idea that might try using silicone to make the majority of the endo sym armor once i lose a bit of weight
Keep up all the awesome content you are the reason I got into 3D printing and and the stuff that comes with it I love it and it brings me so much joy to see what I could do!
Any plans on coming to Halcon in October in Halifax , Nova Scotia ?? Would love to see you there !! 😊 I’ll be there with my friend as vendors, XGC-Galactic 💥💥
I would personally LOVE a tutorial on making the battery packs for the gloves. I used the same puck light you did for my Iron Man-dalorian build and had the exact same issue with the wires.
you said you had some broken wires in the gloves, did you ever get to seeing that video that Ben Eadie had made you about the stretchy wires that dont break ?
Have you tried isopropyl alcohol for hot glue removal? It became almost effortless for me when I learned that trick 😃 Also, is Mark 85 coming to MCM London as it was planned before?
Yo man your videos have helped me a ton got a elegoo neptune 3 plus printer a few months ago and you’ve helped me so much. I’ve gone off of tutorials for making helmets which is what I mainly do. But i don’t know how to know what colors to use to make the helmet look as good as possible. Just wondering how you figure out what colors to use to make your helmets look that good.
Hey Frank! I just pulled the plug and got my first fdm printer (had a resin before). I'm starting the mk.85 project, same file you got. I was wondering how much room I should leave in the head area, for all the mechanics/hinges and stuff. So far I'm scaling at 103-5% and it seems snug on the inside, but I'm just worried about the fit once I start printing the hinges and motor cases.
Huh, I wonder why Starboost's faceplate is so crooked.. It's as if someone flinged it into the air and it slammed on the ground while suiting up (so weird, because that's totally not what happened)
Im just starting to look at picking up 3d printing as a hobby and id like to print multicolour as im not artsy enough to paint things well. What are some good budget multicolour printers out there? 200 -300 usd?
I noticed that suit stl is free right now on do3d. Off topic comment: I finished making a blue beetle helmet thanks to your inspiration. No place to post pics?
How would I start a print at a certain layer in Cura? My printer stopped at 88% and I had to turn it off because filament didn't arrive until 3 days later.
Quick ask, what’s your favorite filament that’s a good price/quality ratio? I have a full suit to produce and I no longer have a cheap replacement to use. Monoprice pla+ was discontinued, used to be $10 a kg on sale.
Hey man I've gotten super results out of lots of different $10-12/kg filaments. I have at least 25 -30 helmets and a few suits of armor. I've used sunlu, flashforge, elegoo, creality, 3dgenius, Amazon brand, cc3d, bblife, zztop, r2d2... I honestly think they're all about the same quality. Anytime I think otherwise it usually ends up being that there was a gap between the throat and the nozzle or I was just printing too fast for the selected layer height. Winding, this, that, it's all the same. I have literally only once had a spool crosswound and I'm 99.5% sure I did that by losing the end when changing filaments mid print. And that was a $17-18 roll of filament, I would never pay that much for a roll of filament these days, except for maybe some flexi pla, maybe. Obviously if you're looking for specifics in color, that's where you might wanna have a favorite or a preference. That said. I literally will not pay more than $12 a roll for filament these days, unless it's something special, and even then I'll try to order that special stuff direct from factory/warehouse so it's closer $12 or less. If you wait for the right time to buy, you can still get sunlu's usually $180/10kg pla+ multi color packs or black/white pla+ for about $100 on Amazon. They do that every couple months. If you're willing to wait a week or two for delivery, you can usually get a 10kg multi color or mono color pack for $100 or less from a few of those companies at anytime, direct from a warehouse. If you're painting your suit and don't care about color, you should be able to get 10kg for $100 from a number of companies right this minute, even through Amazon.
The quality and realness of your videos are unmatched, each day you are inspiring more and more people to join the hobby, keep doing what you are doing because you are doing amazingly!
He is the reason I saved and bought a 3D printer in the first place
hes the reason i started my war machine cosplay project
RIP MK39, you flew too close to the stars and brought back imagination! Awesome project Frank
Totally got second hand stress from the backpack lights. Those "oh cause I'm dumb" moments are the worst. 😂
The next suit should be a war machine. I love your videos you are the reason I started 3d printing
All good things come to an end eventually, im sure a lot of people are sad about it but this was truly an amazing era, i still hope iron man and war machine is still in your heart, love the content
isopropanol for removing hot glue works like a charm!

Made the helmet fix look easy as hell.. mean while I'm still trapped in mine
I appreciate your video diary on this build. I'm starting to take a crack at the MK 39 full build and your videos will be a awesome guide.
Aloy's bow is sweet looking hanging on the door! That wiring looks insane, I am going to have to go back and watch again.
I loved seeing the mark 39 one last time. Your big long in the making projects or definitely my favorite!
I absolutely love the Mk39 and I've been following yours since it was an idea. I'd only hope to ever get the helmet done myself. Mk39 is just so clean and overall epic
That’s a cool suit I am so happy to have the files
If you ever have kids, they will literally idolize you! Nice job on everything!
You inspire a lot of people

Awww dude I felt your pain when you burned out the leds. I've done the same thing on my General Grievous suit with the voice changer lol.
I wouldn't mind seeing that grievous suit. Huge grievous fans over here.
Dude .. EPIC! both suits ..
For some reason I just fouind your channel .
Great video as always. Its always good to see that mistakes can be made but not to panic it can all be fixed.
Wow I remember that first video, I guess I’ve been subscribed for a year! Love your work! Inspired me to make clone trooper helmets!

Love the starboost suit. Love how bulky it is. Cant wait for the next 85 u make

A great Mini-series that could be cool might be a Skyrim Dragon Priest cosplay or just the masks
We need some mk 7 resin helmets back at marbles...
you’ve inspired me to get a 3d printer
Glad to at least kinda get a pic with my mk 42 and starboost at katsu, make a guide to make a suit fear-of-escalator proof next 😭
Great video again, Frank 🤜🤛

If you have plans to make another Iron man suit, please make Mark 5. It's one of the best ironman suit and unique.
You should make a blue spirit cosplay from avatar: the last air bender
Have you tried isopropyl alcohol for hot glue removal? It became almost effortless for me when I learned that trick 😃

is there a video of how you wired and set up the starboost helmet?

Yo could you 3d print the comic silver centurion helmet it would be pretty cool to see
I will miss him. He became my favourite suit ❤
My weekly dose of frank
Do you think you make any more full suits? Maybe Robocop?
Would love to see you create an armor display station for each of your builds (like the elder scroll armor display station).
You can auto-light up the units when walking in the room/interact with them & make the back walls lore/application/environment-specific.
Do you have any plans on making a war machine armor in the future??
What is your take on the health risks on pla printers (fumes and small plastic dust)? I've heard a lot of things, but no one talks about it.
Bro I want to print toys and. Home decoration items and gift.
Which 3d printer is suitable for it
Huh, I wonder why Starboost's faceplate is so crooked.. It's as if someone flinged it into the air and it slammed on the ground while suiting up (so weird, because that's totally not what happened)

Hey Frank do you know if you are going to a con in Missouri or any where near Missouri?
Nah I’m sorry
How did you do the hands? All the fingers are on one file
Seperate them
Hi Frank I’m about to get a Bambu P1P, any advice
Enjoy it
Have you ever thought about shaving a Tony Stark beard for the con?
Can you steal the lights from your other suite for Starboost
Rubbing alcohol dissolves hot glue.
Hi
Hello
Turn and Burn
Burn out the lights maby😂
Imagine calling yourself dumb but you know about circuitry
Which would be cheaper to make mk85 or starboost
Mk39
