That's awesome! Please tell him from me that his SE7EN is one of the greatest films ever written and that if he is ever up for it, I'd love to have him on my show to discuss the process of writing that one AND adapting The Killer of course.
No one does montage like Fincher, even Mindhunter had some of the best recently. Recently watched Jean-Pierre Melville's fantastic Le Samouri (1967) for the first time, and with his coat this looks like a modern twist on that, as you can hear in his voiceover him becoming increasingly more broken/reflective as the trailer goes.
There is a subtle thing in this trailer I love. He keeps saying "Stick To The Plan." But there is one moment where he slightly fumbles the line...at the 2:34 mark right befoe they show in sitting in the shower...almost like he is slowly breaking. The trailer itself is like a story unto itself. Inject this movie right into my veins please.
@@Doctordoompapito True, I know. That’s why I said that he’s too old now. Especially with how current Bond producers only make a Bond film about 2-3 times a decade now. Which is fine, but I know they need someone younger to continue playing Bond for at least a decade or more.
There’s another movie that Fassbender has done since X-Men…a biopic about some football (soccer) trainer that goes and trains a Polynesian football team to great things apparently 🤷♂️ as for this one, the trailer looks interesting. I’ll watch it when it drops on Netflix, just because Fincher is directing. I liked the other flic he did for Netflix, based upon his screenwriter father.
That comes out AFTER this one so I was being technically correct but yes, there is another movie with Fassbender in it that he has done since the last X-Men movie coming out this year.
I love Fincher thrillers. I live in a big city, going to be quite upset if there's not a theater around showing this during it's limited theatrical run. Come on, Netflix..jfc.
I’ve watched this teaser about 12 times in the last 24 hours. Luckily I live near cinemark & cinema west locations (they carry Netflix releases) so there’s a good chance I can see this on the big screen. I love that Andrew Kevin Walker wrote this after the studio (im guessin new line) said no to his Friday the 13th pitch 😂
Andrew Kevin Walker is my uncle ☺️☺️

Fasbender is back
Looks awesome... There is so much treasure trove of material from graphic novels that can be turned into both tv and movies, it's ridiculous
Didn’t know you had a TH-cam channel John. Subscribed!
This looks great. Has a strong gritty 90s cinema feel (fight club, Run Lola Run, Fincher, Tarantino, etc)
Looks great. Easily one of top five best directors working today. Will see this in the theater.
When I heard ‘adaptation’, I thought it was going to be based on John Woo’s Killer with Chow Yun Fat 😆
great trailer and reaction!!
Looks great

I know Michael Fassbender is deemed too old now, but I rest my case that he would’ve made for a great Bond. 🙌
He looks great for 46 but he probably wouldn't want to spend a decade doing Bond. He's a family man.

@@travisearl771 💯 It would’ve been cool to see a Scottish Bond again indeed.
What about Henry cavill? I know he's already 40 but I think he has the perfect lookand has the acting chops to pull it off.

His style is💯% spot on attention too detail classy👌
Reminds me of Kill Bill. Only difference is, it's a man, who's the assassin.
