Once me and my friend were a a supermarket when we got out this man was just standing and looking at us (my friends mom was there she was at the car) so he kept looking at us and he looked strange he looked like he was mad-ish.. But anyways we kept walking then he started coming behind us and he asked to help us with our bags (there was only 2 bags wich were obviously light) we said no its fine then out of nowhere he grabbed my wrist and was trying to pull me and my friend was yelling for her mom and hitting the guy and he had a REALLLY strong grip then my friends mom came and he saw her and ran I was crying it was soooo scary like it still scares me now and everytime I think about it I get scared and feel like someone is watching me and I saw this man 2 times when I was at the mall with my mom and at a park.

Can totally understand that, even though I Myself am a man, some other men scare tf out of me if it’s say just us 2 on a street in the dark. Can’t imagine being a girl in that scenario
First rule when it comes to dealing with perverted stalkers: MAKE A SCENE. If your being harassed or feel uncomfortable, make sure it's known. They prey on the fact that you'll be polite in company or ashamed, just like they prey on YOU. Your safety should be a top priority, not what is socially acceptable. Make a damn scene- hell, make a whole fucking MOVIE.
Yes! I've had a few situations (not this bad, but bad enough) where I or a friend has had to do just that. So long as you have strong posture (no fear or weakness showing) and make sure you're loud enough for other people to hear (In a calm/non-screechy voice. You want to be heard but not look like you've lost it) you should be good. Some will persist, sure, but most won't. They stalk because they DON'T like to be noticed. The get off on your fear and the silence around them. Once you take that away it changes the game.

Megan Railton she had bruises on her inner thighs, she didn't call the cops because she was assaulted before and the cops didn't do shit , I was raped and had DNA evidence and it took a year for the DNA to come back so they just talked to him and let him go and then when the DNA came back they arrested him and let him out on a 100,000$ bond and an ankle bracelet, took 3 years to get him off the street, I had to move to another state and when you press charges they do this thing where you and your lawyers go sit with him and his lawyers and have to tell the story right there to his face and it was terrifying, I got such bad anxiety and panic attacks from being raped and then treated like I was a suspect and the defense tried to make me look like a hoe and made me feel horrible right in front of him and I just would be crying wishing I never pressed charges because it made me feel a million times worse and in the end he got 10 years. He was rich and he was a doctor in my town for the college football team the Georgia Bulldogs so everybody thought I was lying and doctors would refuse to see me in the town, they would make up some reason not to see me because they all knew who I was because he told everybody my name!! Our country is fucked up we shouldn't treat victims like criminals! You have no idea how horrible it is to go through that

Check your car, stalkers often hide GPS things on girls cars, like under the wheel bed or under the car.
Or if they have your number they clone your phone, thru the Bluetooth, the tracking

Him contacting you is against the restraining order, especially the amount of times he’s contacted you. Call the police, save the snap chats of him walking by your apartment daily and show them. Breaking a restraining order is jail time! Think smart, you’re a smart person!

if its affecting you a lot mentally, i think you should see a therapist or psychologist, because if you don't seek professional help you might get PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). I know this can happen because it's happened to my mum and she has PTSD, and she's been stalked and she's been hiding from this man for YEARS i'm 15 and he was after her before i was born. he followed her from New Zealand to Australia, she lived in WA before i was born and moved to Queensland afterwards, as far as i know he hasn't found us but i'm still scared and so is my mum. I hate the way the police handle these kinds of situations. You basically have to have your life threatened or get physically harmed to be taken seriously.

Throughout this video she claims to have a restraining order against this person following / stalking her, and then she makes a statement that when she called the police they wouldn't help her. That is a very bold lie that she is telling because the police have to show up and arrest the person who is violating the terms of a restraining order. I know this for a fact, my husband is a law enforcement officer and when I showed this video to him he couldn't get over how untruthful she's being.
Thats great that your husband would do such a thing. Most won't. My friend had a restraining order (and obviously, strict no contact) and her ex-boyfriend kept finding her new numbers and email accounts and etc no matter how many times he was blocked to send her angry messages (Including locations she'd been at that week/month) and the cops didn't do shit even though she showed them to said cops. Sorry for the reality check but, nope, they don't care Cricket. They really don't. (And even if they do most states have extremely lax laws when it comes to stalking)

I’m a man and I’ve been stalked by a girl before. It’s the feeling of being watched. It makes you paranoid AF. The red flag is when someone gets too attached to you when you barely know them ! 😬
For social media, it’s always good to post what you’re doing after you’ve left the place- never while you’re there. Don’t update the world on your every move.
If you have a restraining order against someone and they violate it, call the police...
If someone violates a restraining order, sadly there's not much the police do unless there's children involved. If it's a *protective* order, he is required to leave whatever space you're in by at least 300 ft or else he's immediately taken to jail. For instance, let's say you go to a store and you see the stalker. Even if he's just minding his own business, you could call the police and let them know that he's there and they'll come arrest him. I was told this by 2 police officers. I'm not sure it's the same in your state, but apparently that's how it works in TX.

It's so sad to still hear things like this. I've had a stalker for the last 3 years and I've been in contact with the police multiple times and they have said that because he has never physically hurt me they won't do anything. It's so scary not knowing what that person is capable of. Hope things improve for you Nessa. It's so hard when you have a social media platform too becuase you cant control who sees you. Stay safe x
