I was walking outside the Rio's entrance and a taxi driver asked how a 'beautiful girl like me was walking instead of driving ' and offered me a free ride and I passed on it cause I felt really awkward how he was hitting on me and I knew he'd want something in return for a free ride..

I went to a Miranda Lambert concert with my friend about a month or so ago and we took a taxi... The man was driving to a well know Colosseum about ten minutes away and took us in a circle three times until I told him we needed to go straight. He then proceeded to angrily mumble words and phrases that couldn't quite be made out about how he never should've agreed to this as he "accidentally" pull into a abandoned or extremely unpopulated parking lot. He then shouted to us saying, "Get out of the car!" I obviously had to reply and tell him this is not where we were supposed to be. After about three minutes of threatening about taking legal action he finally drive us to the concert. Needless to say we called an uber to drive us home. Please be careful!!

here is my mini story time in a cab. so in my town, we don't have uber. if you need to get somewhere you either take a cab or the city bus. so i was with my friend and we were babysitting. the mom of the kids came home at around midnight. and she offered to pay us for a cab. we said sure cause then we wouldn't have a way home. so the cab got here and me and my friend got in. and all of a sudden it smelt like somthing was rotting. like deadass rotting. me and my friend were like holding our breath the entire time. the cab driver looked like he was around his middle 40s. like 5 minutes after we start driving, he starts asking us all these creepy ass questions. like "how tall are you" "what do you weigh" and me and my friend were like wtf and said we don't know cause obviously we didn't know at the top of our fucking heads. and this entire time he was asking us questions, there was somthing in the back of his car that kept moving and bumping around the trunk. so we are like two stop signs away from my house and the streets were vacant he put the car to a complete stop and got out. he went to the back of the car and opened the trunk. he just moved a bunch of stuff around and closed and locked it. he finally dropped us off to my house. and we got out and we were just walking up my drive way and he rolled down his window and yelled " WISH THE DRIVE WAS LONGER!" and winked. after we seen him wink we bolted into my house and locked the door. he just left. not really scary but defiantly creepy just to think that what would happen if the drive was longer.

One time ordered a uber to pick me up from school and when he came he had a lady in the front, I thought he was maybe dropping her off but she did not get out. I think it was his girlfriend. I was like whatever. During the ride to my house I saw her writing something down on a notepad it was weird. Then when they dropped me off home they were still there when i was entering my home. I look outside from my balcony and the lady was writing something down on her notepad while looking at my house. They were there for a good 10 minutes then left. I think it was one of the weirdest uber experiences I've had so far.

When I was still living in Florida for school, I didnt wanna walk 2 miles from the uni to my house in the florida heat, so i called an uber. First he complained about not being able to find me on campus. He picks me up and is dressed like he just got coming outta the 90's. Im talking wifebeater, durag, dirty jeans, and a gold grill. but whatever its a 5 minute drive. His seatbelt didnt work, he was on the phone cursing at someone (sounded like he was talking about selling drugs) and driving way past the speed limit. almost slammed into the OPEN GATE of my apartment complex. First time i've ever given anyone a 1 star on uber

A my first uber experience was a car accident
oh my God. I was taking an hour long taxi trip from my friends house back to mine when I was 18. The driver was an African guy that spoke very little English. Long story short but the weirdo took me to his house and wanted me to have wine with him and give me a house tour. It was so scary. My life like flashed before my eyes and I literally froze and kept asking can we get in the car and leave. I honestly made it back home safe. Still scares me to take a taxi to this day.

I just watched nessas goodbye video and cried bc I feel trapped from problems,
I feel like I have anxiety, and I get sad very easily and I think of the worst sometimes, and I can't tell anybody bc I'm insecure and shy, and feel like if I tell anybody, they so believe me or it won't be true... Idk why but I also though of my dad watching that and that's when I started crying.
He's always gone and if he comes back, he comes for about 2-3 days and he's gone. He wasn't here for Christmas or Easter. Some boys at my school call me this specific name bc of my backpack, and I just snapped on them once and yelled at them saying, "MY DAD HASN'T BEEN BACK SINCE BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND ALL YOUR DOING IS MAKING HOW I FEEL WORSE!!" And I walked the other building for our school, they go there too, and I was crying and my friends comforted me. They saw me and they still do it and don't stop. I sometimes feel like going insane but I'm to shy and can't, so I pray every night that I feel better..

I'm not sure what it is like in America but in England it's more unsafe to get in an uber. There has been multiple crimes in which uber drivers have killed people. Just cause one taxi rank is dodgy doesn't mean you should categorise every taxi into that group. My grandad is a taxi driver and he used to love his job. He's now lucky to earn £20 a day because of uber. Don't make fun of what uber is doing just cause you're not in that situation.
