At least one of the injectors are not in parameters, they are spewing too much diesel into the cilinder and it cannot burn completely, hence the black smoke. At least one injector needs replacing but seen as that part is 250-400 euros for most diesel cars and some services refuse to test which is at fault and swap all at once, many people just drive with the faulty injector
I did a test with a 1.5 dci Edc grand tour from 2013. I traveled 11 km in the city and it showed me on board 10.2 average consumption. The owner said it was normal at first to look like this because the engine is cold. Is it true or does the car have problems? It looked like it was ok.
@@supermeseriasu If engine is cold consumption 10l is normal in my opinion. My grandtour 1.5 dci has average 7,7/100l in the city and 6,7/100 on the highway at 130-140km/h.
@@AutoLM005 I have discovered that I can reach V max (about 190 km/h) when on 5 gear. It is not possible when on 6 gear. All tests on German highways of course ;)

@@rencikz doesn't matter. Diesels without DPF do not produce black smoke either, if they are all right.

Hi, what is your real V max? Did you test it? I have the same car but grandtour variant and 175 km/h is the max I can reach with 1.5 dci.
all depends on the maintenance of the vehicle, but I have not tested the v max

I have an laguna 3 but as facelift with the 1.5 dci and it goes 217Kmh Gps 175 is tooo slow u should check it
