    What an informative video!
    I like the idea of the mini, but I really think the smaller form factor could be very annoying for drawing.
    However, given the use I'd make of it (only drawing and watching yt in bed) I'd appreciate spending less, considering how the price rises with the Apple Pencil 2 and smartfolio cover.
    Anyway in 2022 the ipad, ipad air and ipad pro will be updated, therefore it would be smarter for me to wait for a spring keynote.
    If the regular 2022 ipad will be laminated and without the home button, it would be the best solution.

    Always great reviews. Wanted to thank you for the heads up regarding the jelly scroll effect on the new mini. I decided to keep my mini5 and just pick up new Smart Cover and dbrand skin to refresh it without dropping another $749. I think the mini 5 screen is actually better with no noticeable jelly scroll.

    Hi there, I am thinking about getting a iPad tablet to use with the program duet with my desktop, instead of getting a screen drawing monitor. I’m still on the fence for doing this, just because I don’t know if a tablet connected to my computer will hold up for a 8-12 working hours every day. Do you have any experience with duet? In theory the idea of being able to use the tablet as a second monitor drawing screen and can take it on the go for a price that is cheaper than a high end drawing screen monitor is very appealing…although XP Iooks fantastic as well. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

      I am using XP-pen 13.3 inch drawing monitor. I don't have an ipad yet but. I believe if you really need desktop based tools then monitor is always better because tlone of the main disadvantages of using ipad is its apps that are made for tablet and have limitations when compared to a full fledged desktop app.

    I heard many reviewers said to not buying the budget Ipad bcs it is no laminated display and gives you parallax effect. But when I heard you told that the difference is not that significant I feel so happy.
    I'm broke and I also can't get any refurbished version in my country so the option is only between a new Ipad 2021 with one year warranty or a used Ipad Air 3 with no warranty. Which one you recommended for a long time drawing purpose? I don't think I'll need many layers since I usually only use less than 10 layers for drawing. Parallax is mostly a non-issue especially on smaller displays. The bottomline is you'll still be able to draw accurately. The main issue is the specs for the entry level iPad is bare minimum compared to other brands. iPad Air 3 does not support Apple Pencil. Other alternatives to consider are Samsung Tab S6 Lite 2022 and Xiaomi Pad 5 2021 with Xiaomi Smart Pen. Maybe iPad 10. But I probably recommend Samsung Tab S8 or S9 series tablets as there are more features.

    Considering the new iPad Mini has a more powerful newer processor then the Air with the same amount of Ram, how come it has almost half the Pro Create layers supported in your chart compared to the Air?

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Procreate is either not programmed to automatically access the RAM and increase the layer count, or does not have permission from Apple to access the excess RAM. Usually the app has to be updated so that it can access all the RAM.

    Je suis artiste peintre et j’envisage de créer de l’art numérique avec l’option d’en imprimer en grand format et j’envisage aussi de créer des NFT .
    Si j’ai bien compris, le nombre de couches disponibles est important, je m’oriente donc vers un iPad Pro 2021 ou 2020.
    Mais svp quel est le format d’impression maximal possible ?
    Merci 🙏

      New iPad Air 5 with 256gbs. It has 8gb of ram, so as many layers as iPad Pro 128gbs, and a bit cheaper, with more storage.
