I just picked up a Gen 2 DMC-6 and it is not clear from this video which buttons to push for a reset. I am trying to use this midi device to save midi presets on a new Engl E 606 Ironball SE amp and I won't be needed any of the built in presets. I don't know if this is even possible but I thought I would give it a try because the form factor of this pedal is small.
Try powering on while holding down the lower left and upper right buttons. This should work for the "universal" version of the firmware, which you can find on our support page here: disasterareadesigns.com/support If you need more assistance we're happy to help via email, please use the contact page on the site.
@Disaster Area Designs I am little perplexed about saving a patch. I know if you hold down a patch location, the display reads "save" and on the amp, there is a store button that you hit once you get the preset the way you like. But it doesn't seem to actually save the preset, because once you go to another bank and then back, the preset is lost. It also seems to default to a patch which is completely different and with effects and settings that I did not program. I am wondering if the unit being preprogrammed for the specific devices are unchangeable and that the settings are simply what the amp is interpreting from the pre programmed settings. I would like to start with a completely blank slate, but if the device will not do that, perhaps it is not what I need for this amp.
Hello, if i make a factory reset i will loose all my presets BUT if i reconfigure it with the olds presets number that i had before the factory reset, will i recall the sounds that i "designed" ? Thank you very much
Anything that is on your devices (pedals, synths, etc.) stays. The reset of the DMC or other controller just resets what's stored inside the DMC, and doesn't touch your pedals.
@@DisasterAreaDesignsall right thks to you. Also i have an error message on my qconnect. It says "mByp" do you have an idea of what does it means ? My presets makes some crazy things, it jump from a presets to another,, activate wrong pedals who supposd to be bypassed. My irridium doesn't respond at all. It's a mess.. it never happen before and i didn't change anything and the firmware is updated... do you have an idee ? Thanks a lot for your answers.

How to updating dmc micro firmware?
will this pedal work with the meris Enzo?
Yes, all you need is a single TS / mono patch cable.
What does the "E 0" mean?
It means that the controller is reading an expression pedal. In this case, the pedal is disconnected so it just reads a zero.
@@DisasterAreaDesigns awesome, good to know. Thanks!
