Hi James: What 1.5kW Spindle are your using on this machine? I just received mine. 😊 Do you recommend a water or air cooled spindle?
I really do want this!!
This is the second time watching and I am super impressed I think the last Amazon days I saw a 1.5 watt air cooled spindle thawad way cheaper than I thought it would be. Like $170 American. I think pairing this or the 4x4 and the spindle plus new vacuum you would have a fantastic machine. I do wonder with the upgraded stepper motors they are using, why they don upgrade the Masuter pro for new unit sales. Speed and accuracy is so much better. Thank you for all you do. I am watching videos in the hospital after knee surgery so thank you
I love your videos. Can you do how to maintain, like oil or grease entire machine.
Thank you
Will you post a review of the genmitsu 3030 in the near future?
Can the FOXALIEN rotary be used with the spindle or only the laser module?
Hello James, I have a quick 2 questions for you. Before I start let me say that I am new to this and want to do this as a hobby. 1st question, does Fox Alien or any other manufacturer of CNC machines have a unit that can be adapted to the work area, for instance, if the unit is 400 x 400 could you adapt the rails to do 400 x 800 ??. 2nd question, the picture you use to engrave , could this also be adapted to fit over a longer area. So for example, if I wanted to engrave a snake onto a board that is 400 x 800 , could this be done ? Could you break the 800 mm into 2 workable 400s ?. Thanks mate. Good channel.
Great video! Would you happen to know how much the CL-6560 and Vasto XL each weigh after assembled?
I really don't, sorry 😕 I would guess the Vasto weighs more but not 100% sure
Can the spindle speed be controlled through software?
On and off can be controlled via the software, the speed is controlled manually via the dial
Are you planning to test the CL-4x4 machine ?
No. I didnt have space at the time to test a machine that large
Can you tell us what spindle you upgraded to? Or give us a link as to where we can purchase it? I would like to get the spindle mount that came with your spindle. It looks like it was made for this foxalien.
The spindle I used and a few others are all in the description of my spindle VFD video. The holder in this video actually comes with the machine, it's their 65mm diameter holder

@@JamesDeanDesigns Thank you for the reply, and letting me know. I did end up purchasing this cnc today.
Foxalien sells the motor upgrade with the feedback motors for the Vasto XL for about $600 you just have to special order and wait 8 weeks.
Thanks 🙏 for a great video
Closed Loop Stepper Motors unlike regular motors which do as they're told, Closed Loop motors "report" back to the controller to ensure that the instructions are properly carried out as intended.
Yes, thats correct 👍
Thanks again James. If you recall. You and I shared some correspondence a few months back about the 6560 and the vasto XL. As to which one I should purchase. I have not purchased either yet. But you had mentioned that you believe the Vasto XL to overall be the better machine. Would you say your opinion has changed? I don't mind the price point difference. I just want to make sure I'm getting the better machine.
Another excellent video and product review. Did you have to do anything special about the dust on the rails to keep it running smooth? Is a dust boot a necessity? How did you go about cleaning the screws with such a small opening?
i bought the vasto and i dont think i needed it
How do you think the xe-pro compares as a small machine and upgraded with linear rails?
Is it a machine you think you will review?
Oh and you spelt hungry incorrectly
you sound hangry.
yeah, should have been "Magyarország"
in the 1960's we were voted down to use metric system
I am not a fan of OneFinity, but I must point out that you get a much better Masso G3 Touch controller with a touch screen on a 4x4 size for the same price as this chinese machine. The pricing just doesn't make any sense. And, it uses wheels instead of linear rails. Its crazy. You would be nuts to buy this at $4000.
Yea, you would be nutz, cause the machine lists for $1999.
@@TReischl1uh no. try again
the wheel system is brilliant in my mind. reminds me of how train wheels are and how they easily go through the snow in the midwest USA.
While I welcome improvements over previous models, it really feels like a lot of these chinese CNC manufacturers change a few small things and fart out machine after machine. This confuses potential shoppers, and why I prefer to stick to companies with only a few models with clear differentiation. Onefinity is still probably one of the best values in CNC machines.
Maybe I need to watch again more carefully, but it sounded like the conclusion was that this is pretty much better all round than the one that is 700ukp more expensive ?
