If I have a major anxiety involving being away from home in a storm, but I'm really craving McDonalds, consequences of going to McDonalds when I know a storm is on the way is absolutely on me. It's not the fault of anyone going slow in traffic, or the McDonalds workers messing up and having to remake my order, I knew the risks and possibilities the moment I stepped out the door. That's taking responsibility for your own actions.

@@pinkkrystalz7610 While I do understand where you're coming from, as an aro nonprofessional singer I think genuine compliments are fine as long as you don't have "that" kind of intention behind it. @@xsamthingelse Jaiden also has an eating disorder and has explicitly stated that stuff bringing up her physical appearance makes her uncomfortable, so IT DOES MATTER. Why do you think she's been faceless for awhile until (what she said to Anthony, though without stating who did this) Alex Clark took a selfie that exposed her without her permission.
Not to mention the amount of porn that was made sexualizing her avatar. Which, BTW Kooleen recently not only yassified Jaiden's, Domic's, a James' (the OddOnesOut) avatars, she even had the audacity to sexulize her by calling her "goth mommy" despite Jaiden explicitly stated *her* boundaries.
@@pinkkrystalz7610 Okay, so couple things:
First of all, I wasn't aware that this kind of compliment was off-limits, as I never had the chance to catch one of her streams. I was aware about her having struggled with EDs but I was under the impression that she had made a full recovery.
Second of all, don't you think there's a huge difference between what you're describing (which I will not even attempt to defend as it is completely unacceptable) and a simple "she's gorgeous"? Perhaps it's because English is my second language but I don't see how the latter is sexualising. With something so tame it probably would've been better to be a tad less harsh, especially since OP might've not known and they were genuine and well-meaning
@@xsamthingelse Three things:
1. I happen to be Hetace (Heteromantic Asexual) myself. I just forgot to mention that in my previous post.
2. It doesn't matter what the intent is, Jaiden has already stated her boundaries and therefore it's *not* *your* *decision* to make on how she should feel. If she doesn't want comments on her body or have her image and/or avatar being used to sexulize her, then you should respect those boundaries.
3. Complimenting on Jaiden's looks when the video is about how her face was revealed without her permission and how uncomfortable she was is still shallow. I don't think you understand how annoying and insensitive it is for someone to make that kind of comment on something so serious.

😨
Deadass the most horrible thing a company can do to someone who specifically resquests something from them
So the vlogger not only ignored her wish, he attempted to profit from her to get as many views he could get?!
Imagine using someone more famous than you for cloud by revealing sensitive information that they *specifically* asked you *not* to
according to a gross number of people in these comments. there is nothing wrong with that, simply existing on the internet forfeits your private life apparently
What confuses me is though, in one of jaiden’s friend’s video about vidcon (LetMeExplainStudios) she put in the comments that jaiden had consented to having her face in the video, aswell as a few other videos and vlogging. There seems to be inconsistent stories here.
LetMeExplainStudios had a picture of her, in one split second of the video, AlexClark had her be present in video form for most of his video.
I would never talk to that person again
I’m so honored to have the same name as Jaiden.
She thinks she is in the wrong? That's horrible! Not only was she ignored, disregard, exploited for clout, but she was also gaslit into believing SHE was in the wrong for not wanting to give consent to this?? Hell no.😠
she _thought_ she was in the wrong, she knows better now
Reminder to check you dont follow alex clark on anything
Needed to happen to make her over her fears
not your place to decide that you weirdo
That's not ok. Hope she's doing well now 💜
They disrespected her boundaries. That's completely rude and ignorant.
