    Nice example of power on this motor. How fast does this go on throttle only on flash ground? And what combo of motor battery and other specs please

      I am pretty sure it goes around 55kpm on flat group but there are variables involved such as weight.
      He gives specs in the description

      My 52v BBSHD hits 36mph with XC tires on pavement. My battery is limited to 30a.

      I no longer have this eEbike, i removed all the electric parts and made another Ebike, i dont have any problems with the motor after 8200 miles , i do a full service on the motor every 6 months (new gaskets, grease, check all the bearings, repaint the whole motor) heres the new eBike th-cam.com/video/NaQ0D1u8JyQ/w-d-xo.html

    And you weren’t even in the lowest rear cassette gear? Also what size chainring on the front? I’m building mine now and will be using a 40 teeth chainring and pretty much only use the lowest gear on the rear as all I’m interested in is acceleration and torque. Later down the line I might even make it a single chainring on the rear. I have no interest at all in all out speed. Built a hub setup a couple years ago that was like 2400w and went 39mph but the low down torque just couldn’t cut it and it would overheat really fast going up hills unless you stuck to the 1500w it was built for. On really long steep climbs like the one you do here I’d usually try and hold it at around 800w all the way and it never overheated that way. If I gunned it then it would last about 3 mins and then conk out and I’d have to wait for it to cool down. Hopefully the BBSHD will solve this issue and allow me to go full throttle like this all the way. Nice vid bud

      Yes its variable, low speed trhrottle depends on the gear ratio.

    were you running the ludicrous controller on that same 52V battery? how did torque, top speed, etc. compare to the stock controller you're on now.

      You can switch gears with a mid drive

      Swithing gears in a mid drive is a critical part of its operation. Otherwise you cant climb hills.

      What type of chainring do you use? What ratio? I have a 36T chainring and 3 sprockets on the cassete 12T 21T and 40T. What kind of battery do you use? 48v or 52v ?

    Some additional information would have been useful. Voltage readings before and after for example, rather than 8 minutes of looking at the ground through a shaky camera.

      Hello, i can only suggest you buying a bigger battery and dont use the stock bbshd chainring use a small chainring considering what weight you carry.

      I have a 52v 20.4AH battery and im getting about 45km(throttle only) on a single charge and about 150km pedal assist 250w with the stock controller.
