    Gamers Nexus went full on infiltration mode and had to undergo a TERRIBLE RMA process from Asus. This reflects what many other customers have experienced with them along with this "legacy" that Asus has been portraying. However... I think this goes sooo much deeper than just Asus, because what company would be a better alternative? It's like picking the better of two evils.       I think people should have a good relationship with nearby repair shops so that A) you don't get scammed B) you get it fixed without spending a fortune

      There are some countries with very strong anti-consumer protection law and agency that will mostly prevent this. Countries really need consumer protection with proper enforcement without corruption by outside forces to do achieve this.

    Change legislation.
    1. Seller should have full responsibility two years from date of sale.
    2. After two years from date of sale up to four years date of sale, seller should have limited responsibility. If the product fails, it should be possible to repair reasonable cost. If repairing costs over 50% of selling price, buyer should be able to buy at least equal product -50% discount.
    This should remove shittiest products away from sales and local product vendors require contracts between manufacturers to share responsibility.
    It is also likely that factory overclocking and other silly practices go away. Also it is likely that manufacturers put some way to detect if product is overheated or run overclocked so overclockers and incompetent computer builders have to pay from learning.

    I think this is a regional issue? I'm in South Africa and we don't have ASUS repair centres instead they outsource it to Pinnacle ICT South Africa. When my ROG Ally micro sd card slot stopped working I took it back where I bought it. They sent it to Pinnacle and 2 week later they said it's a manufacturers defect and they won't be fixing it. They gave me 2 options. Replace the entire unit with a new unit from the store I bought it aka new sealed unit or get a refund. I took the refund.

      Warranty from producer's of a product exist in case quality control didn't catch faulty parts or that product had some design issues that wasn't discovered during testing. It is part of purchase decision and is included in the total price of product.
      Paying extra only for getting warranty from another third party is really not the solution to this. Even third parties like Amazone need to get refund what they have paid from producer of product, so that is more like insurance companies operate: most people don't have accidents or need insurance (or make use of it) vs the rest that are getting insurance money when they make claims, which is less then those that paid and didn't make any claims that where valid and paid back as part of agreement.
      There is also the other problem when companies don't get people to make the work to find out what caused issues that made costumer to ask for a warranty claim. Selling a product that in the end turns out to be unsafe or have to high failure rate (life time span too short for its intended usage) isn't good for any serious company that want to provide products that people trust to buy in the future from the same company.

    Hi vex,
    In general, in Europe, we never have to deal directly with the brands. We buy our products from retailers like Mediamarkt, Digitec, etc., and when we have a problem, we go to them. It's the retailers who then have to deal with the brands, not us.
    I've never had an issue, and I've done a lot of RMA.

      Was about to make a similar comment, I'm from Denmark, and I had a EVGA GTX8800 go bad while it was under warranty, I took it to the shop where I bought it, and they dealt the RMA.

      It's the same in US but very often retailers will deflect and tell you to take it to the manufacturer for warranty replacements. You don't have to RMA it. You can return it to the retailer but they take advantage of the common consumers ignorance making them think they have to RMA it. It's a huge problem with mobile phone carriers saying you need to return your defective galaxy directly to Samsung where Samsung will deny your claim if you so much as fart within a 10 mile radius of the device. All of which could be avoided if someone doubled down and sent it to the retailer

      @@charleyweinhardt It's true that I've never seen any products at MSRP prices in Europe. However, I believe that in Europe, we have laws that provide a better framework for warranties. For example, in Switzerland, there is a minimum of 2 years of warranty, no matter what is the product. And retailers are not allowed to redirect customers directly to brands unless the 2 years are over.

    the thing about the warranty sticker ---- It violates US law, so if they void a warranty on that basis, you CAN sue. They just assume you won't want to pay more for the lawyer than the device.

    Here in the UK they would not be allowed to return it disassembled, it would have to be returned in the same condition and working order as you sent it to them. We also have a "must be suitable for purpose" law which if this is faulty and out of warranty, you can pay to have it repaired, go through the small claims court and get your money back plus expenses. The consumer law states the item / appliance / part must have a reasonable life span. Not to go faulty after 12 months and 1 day and you are told you must pay. I don't know how a lawsuit happy country like the USA allow this to happen and don't have some in the law that covers these practices.
    The part of the video where you only have 100 characters, if you look below you can upload a document. I would upload a word doc with everything you have to say on it. I am sorry but that micro dent on the case is just wear & tear from normal use, its plastic not adamanitium.

      The reason why this happens in the US is for multiple reasons: corporate lobbyists and corporate politicians whittling away consumer protections for decades; the fact that a lawsuit requires money and the corporation will always have more than an individual so they can just bleed you dry until you can no longer afford to sue; because of the first reason, corporations have made customer service so unbearable most people don't want to deal with it so they just don't bother and they just replace whatever's broken.

      ​@@gruiadevilhow people step up probably to spread this information to much wider potential buyer and make ASUS products less desirable for public but I don't think that gonna affect their sale much, to be fair compared to other brand ASUS has more prone to issues like how Asrock with their never ending software issues but for ASUS their issues was more avoidable with better QC.
      If they not willing to improve at least they should reduce their products price instead put high mark for problematic products like how Gigabyte reduce their price in here same with Acer, at least people know statement "quality come with price" still apply instead scam practice ASUS try to apply.
      I was hoping ASUS like MSI despite their some products quite prone to issues and had so-so CS but they still trying, so their price still acceptable compared with ASUS

    The real issue to me is that it's left up to youtubers (that is, common folk) to hold these million dollar companies accountable. Governments around the world have all kind of "consumer protection" divisions that do absolutely f*** all, just sit there getting fat and collecting your tax dollars.
    Where are my officials? Where are my parliament representatives? Where are my government ministers? Why do i have to ask some guy on the internet for help? Some guy who lives in another country who's never heard of me before?

    I stopped buying Asus 8 years ago, maybe 7. I bought a new screen. The bezel came of partially. I sent it back for replacement. The replacement suffered the same defect. I sent it back and the 3rd one was a replacement. Same thing happened. I the end I kept the screen and used a tape to tether it on the screen.

    I'm not sure if these big, established companies realise just how damaging all this type of stuff is? I've been buying ASUS stuff unconditionally since building my first PC in around 1999, at a time when I would upgrade one component or other every few months, not years. However, I'm about to switch to MSI components for my latest build because I've lost all faith in ASUS now, not just from seeing all these vids online, but after having talked to PC-enthusiast friends too. They may be just repeating what they've heard or seen (rather than talking from experience), but even if that's case it just adds more fuel to the fire.

The way the system has been working before the past 20 years has been innovation. makes cost go down. CEO's are the leeches of our society. They do nothing and expect more. Ok corporate mindset screw over your customers employees infrastructure innovation. America is not built on screwing everybody over you. used to be customers always right United States was Boomtown USA in 2000 because minimum wage went up in 1997 to 7.25 The reason I know this is because I was working for minimum wage my entire working life until I couldn't work any more 4.15 an hour to 7.25 an hour If CEO 's knew what they were doing, we would not. need to bell them out with hundreds of billions of dollars of poor people's money. You know those lazy people who need to work 60 to 80 hours a week just to survive. But hey, you're right, they're flying around in private jets. And it's not like they could cure cancer, diabetes or heart disease by, you know, funding research and development. I mean, jobs could probably be alive for the past 20 years. He took away one of his houses, one of his private jets and one of his yachts, and put it towards researching and developing a. cure for cancer. Just possibly, maybe. these people don't know what they're doing, and they're selling us a bill of goods that's been going on for decades. Just possibly the people at the top don't know what they're doing. and life is going to continue getting worse unless we push back and tell these people enough's enough. Do your damn job All those people at the top, private jets, yachts, big houses and big old smiles, saying they know what they're doing. Prove it.

    I repaired a screen on my Scar laptop back in 2021. It went completely dark after 2 months from purchase. The screen replacement took a month. After back and forth I got the repaired laptop back, but the screen frame was SO WOBLY, it was dangerous to use. It felt like it was going to pop out after 20-30 lid movements. They refused to look further into it. I returned it back to the store and claimed back the money because the issue was SO OBVIOUS, so I could purchase a new one.

      Just hope you have a good one. I bought a new TUF 3070ti last year and it died in 5 months. I'll spare you the details but the replacement from ASUS started artifacting immediately. Assume you have a good one and enjoy your card wholeheartedly.

    Thanks to you guys, i have 6k budget and was planning a new pc build for MSFS. Some main parts was Asıs. But after this video i changed my plan. I have MSI GE77 and used it without any issue. I think i will go all MSI for desktop also

    Customer service used to be important. It was a way for the company to show and to prove that they are going to make the customer experience worthwhile. Now it's about how to get one over on you. That's not good business. Our economy is based off of paying our bills. Rich people don't want to pay their bills because they think they're supposed to get stuff for free, so they'll said, air and shut down small businesses, which is bad for our economy.     The only PC ASUS device I ever owned was an AMD 390X GPU, and after I sent it in for warranty because I was experiencing cooling issues, after a couple of months of going back and forth with them, they just ended up sending me a refurbished NVIDIA GTX 1070, because they deemed the AMD 390X as "unfixable" even though the card worked, and it was just the cooling temps that looked awfully suspicious and did not feel like it was normal for me, where if I kept using that card I believed that it would cause other components to overheat or something, and when it was replaced with an NVIDIA GTX 1070 that's when I realized that I would never buy another ASUS GPU, because to me it felt like they didn't even try to repair the AMD 390X, and then they said that after being given the NVIDIA GTX 1070, that my warranty was over and that they wouldn't give me any further kind of support, and then that refurbished NVIDIA GTX 1070 after 1-2 years of use kind of died on me spontaneously, where I wouldn't receive a video signal from any of its ports, and after that it was when I decided that I would never buy another ASUS PC part or product, the only devices that I still buy from ASUS are their network routers, and its because I hate Netgear with a passion, as those guys will actually force upon you subscriptions and crap regarding a network based anti virus or security suite, on top of what you already paid for the Netgear router you bought from them, and then for some devices they even stop completely providing firmware updates and stuff for them, where with the ASUS routers those always come with Trend Micro security and they do not require a subscription, and on top of that for most of the routers you can just install some custom firmware, that will give you the latest package of features and stuff, from even modern routers that are coming out, which is why I like those ASUS routers, and none of them have died on me yet so that's another plus.
    On another note I will also never buy an EVGA product either, because when the NVIDIA GTX 1080 came out I had bought an FTW model from them, and the device was awesome since it was a hybrid cooling device with an ALL-in-one radiator pump to improve cooling speeds, but after the pump stopped working I tried reaching out to EVGA to see if they could fix it or replace the part, but they refused because it was not under warranty, and they didn't even give options for repair, so the only way that I got that GPU to work again was that I bought an NZXT Kraken G12 mounting kit, and then replaced the cooling system for that EVGA NVIDIA GTX 1080 GPU, and that's how I basically fixed it and then gave it away to a friend who didn't have a gaming PC when I updated my hardware.

    I bought a Asus laptop in January 2023 and it's currently on it's 5th repair on warranty.. It's now in for it's 3rd repair for the same issue with a loose charging cable, and every time they have received my computer they have responded with an email saying they didn't find any faults and a 100$ invoice for shipping. I have then had to send them video proof of the fault to make them change their mind.. I imagine they screw a lot of people over with those shipping fees..

    not sure if it is asus problem in your region over there, but when i over tightened the screws on my asus tuf when i upgraded my ssd by myself. when i was done it had about 3 holes on the keyboard side of the laptop now at this point. (i know it was stupid, that i didnt check the screw lengths when i unscrew them). we dont have an official asus store here, so i had too google the nearest authorized asus service center. it was a long painful back and forth at first with the questions but. i got my laptop back after 2 weeks . it was still under warranty RMA gladly replaced the laptop with a new chassis, and i only had to pay a small fee, and they so replaced the thermal paste while they at it.

    Gigabyte also found a tiny scratch on my GPU and said that because of this it is not repairable. They made me pay shipping and didn't fix the faulty fans.

    Why do people still buy Asus products after their last debacle. I work in an electronic company and know how RMA or warranty works. That last time on how Asus deals with it should immediately be a red flag to anyone dealing with this company. If you must know, a company like Asus won't change their policy just because of a couple of misshapes because it shouldn't happen in the first place. Meaning this is how they've done things for years now. It's just that others'warranty problems don't have any coverage for it to be blown. If you keep buying, this is how you'll end up. You sacrifice your money just for a shiny design from them. Not worth it.

    Vex, it's not that they can't easily replace an analog stick. It's that they can't generate revenue with a simple warranty replacement.
    When you see stuff like this happening, it's because some manager has determined that product support was losing money rather than generating revenue, and has pressured the peons to make up issues to soak the customers.
    Said manager will fail up, despite the fact that he's actually destroying consumer trust in the product, because public companies only care about short-term profits.

    Was that laptop the 2022 model of the A15? I bought that one a little over a year ago, and its keyboard/top cover was so flimsy and thin that the laptop short-circuited while I was writing on it because of the thin material. It had a great screen (2560 x 1440p at 144 Hz with great color gamut. AMD 6800 cpu and 3060 gpu)), and DDR 5 RAM, but the build quality was almost non-existant.
    Sent it in for a motherboard replacement, bu it has been stuck in a warehouse for over half a year, and the warranty may be too old now. Goodbye 1400 dollars.
    I am now back on my 2020 A15 with an awful screen, AMD 4800 cpu and 1660 Ti gpu.

    Im ngl, if I see that damage specifically, im not RMaing the item. It looks like it was pryied open with something, voiding the warranty. Whenever you return any item even to bestbuy, they check for those exact notches or damage within the plastic that covers the board and its components as in that is the first thing you have to take off in order to reach the board.

    Working in independent electronics repair, so far only had one PS5 with oxydation on liquid metal, which more than likely happened, because it got some air in from falling, since client said, that the machine started overheating after a fall.
    Talking about PC repair, if a problem is software related, then unless I have access to your OS, I can't find it. That's why unless it's a hardware fault, I might need your password. So his suggestion, of take your storage out is often not going to work too well. Many a ps4 or xbox one has had its problems from broken hard drive. Just last week had to swap a few out. Even had one desktop, that kept hanging. Turned out, it's m.2 drive was broken. If the client had just sent it in without it, he would have just gotten it back with "fault not found."
    24:27 Depends on what they're drinking, beer is mostly water and will most certainly mess up electronics. Same with wine

    I bought an ASU's X570 board just before the motherboard issues started cropping up, I much prefer my asus board over the gigabyte b550, but I'll never buy another asus product. Probably go back to Asrock, man I miss EVGA. My EVGA haswell board is still running.

    I have joysticks and controllers with thumbsticks that are still working after decades. They've gone through my youthful transgressions, thrown against walls and such, stepped on, ect and now are under the abuse of my 4 kids. They've had every type of food, drink,spilled on them. likely snot and or baby puke, and on and on. And they still work! Why are these failing after a year?

    The really worst Customer Experience i EVER HAD - was with a brand new (!) MSI Notebook which i had to send to a different country for 7 times - because i had an faulty intel CPU ... until i got finally a complete replacement. ive send videos, pictures, i explained in technical terms what i think it was because theese chips were known to by faulty. Always got my device back with the notice "cant reproduce" until the last time i had damages on the chassis which werent by me at all.
    Never bought any (!) MSI Device since then - i would not even buy toiletpaper when the MSI logo is on. And this was over 10 years ago.
    ASUS on the other hand i never had big problems - BUT i think thats because im in Middle Europe, here its the same company which did Apple Device Repairs back in the day.

    I had an Asrock motherboard that randomly stopped working. They replaced it with zero issues or questions asked after sending it in. I had no issues with their RMA department at all.

    Batteries are fragile things if you leave it sitting with no charge it will affect the battery life. Actually using it normally actually helps. Rossman did a video also and said joysticks NES era almost never failed. Modern machines are almost designing these things to fail.

    GN basically does not use the ROG device for normal use, instead, they use them just for benchmarking, thus very little overall usage compared to someone who may be using it for gaming daily.

    I have returned a ROG gaming rig, fully ASUS everything, and even with a 2 year Warranty, they didn't fix the known problems 3 times and I had to settle for the Computer store to fix MB problems and fried a 2070 twice. And before you say it was a user problem it wasn't ... was MB and frying video cards. Mobo swap out and paid a rtx 3070 ti that was lying around and everything fixed.
    NEVER again.

    The 2 companies I’ve had good RMA experiences with are Apple and Nintendo, they either fixed the issues or replaced the device completely within the normal warranty period without issues. It was great. It was why I would buy EVGA whenever possible before they stopped making graphics cards

    My mom bought an Asus G517 laptop last year, i have several complaints about this machine, the trackpad is awefull, the screen has 2 darker stress-like marks, the hinges are tight, the battery already has 19% less health, and it sometimes slows down for no reason, and that from a 1500€ laptop! And now i see that their RMA is a ripoff! We never will buy anything asus branded ever again!

    I never bought EVGA but I learned from other PC-gamers here that EVGA did not give a good support in Europe, however in Europe the EVGA-prices were higher compared to the USA vs competing companies. But yes, good customers service costs money and that increases the price, just not necessarily for the same customers who get that customer service, apparently.

    Just because ASRock and ASUS are both owned by Pegatron, does not mean the companies are the same. I don't typically recommend ASRock GPUs, but I've been using their motherboards for 12 years. Haven't had an issue with a single one of them. Easily have gone through 20+ of their motherboards since 2012.

    Yes, thats right, i have ASUS TUF monitor that flickering, and its still under warranty, and i bring it to the service center, after a week, the service center said it has CID, like a corrosion and a little small splash, they refused to exchange my monitor, then after several days complaining, i checked my monitor there is no such corrosion, and they said there is a small water splash marks on the body, after i checked there was 4-5 dots water mark but its very far from the lid or opening or display port or anything that can cause water go inside the boards...so i opened my self the monitor to checked if there is water or corrosion inside, but there is nothing, its clean...and ASUS makes that rules so they can reject warranty claim...

    Samsung did similar with my new phone. Used it for a few months, and the screen went dead suddenly. Sent for RMA, and they said it's external damage and sent a picture of a hairline 1mm scratch at the back of the phone case. I always had my phone in shockproof case, and protector I told them that and upon collection phone photos were taken by courier, and not even a tiny scratch was on the phone. They refused to listen and gave the option to fix it for 200 or return as it is😮

    What you need to realize is that companies pay top dollar for spin doctors. It's not just people fixing cards, but you need a bunch of PR bs-artists to put the shareholders at ease. It's like this everywhere. Not saying it's okay, but it's far too commonplace to take any company seriously these days. Only thing I own from ASUS at this point, aside from a few Zenfones from the past and a 6800 XT Tuf GPU (which was overheating on arrival, but I repasted it and now it runs beautifully), is my B550 motherboard. There will be no further ASUS purchases from me in the future.

    I thought I might have a broken Asus motherboard from factory. What is interesting, is that the motherboard has the cpu (n100) soldered to it, so they cannot blame me for it. Now that I hear about customer service, I doubt that. Will change RAM to see if that helps. Have reset motherboard several times to no avail. If the memory doesnt fix the problem, then I will contact the vendor

    The real issue is this would have left them make $200 and replace the entire unit given what happened in the end was replacing the joystick boards AND even the motherboard. This means they didnt want to do any actual work given the known issues so just wanted to send a new unit since with the dented case would allow them to avoid repairing it and make some cash.

    I got an ROG x470 motherboard to replace my Aorus one that killed itself in 2018, I used it till about a month ago. That was the worst motherboard Ive ever used. It functioned but the first PCIE slot clip broke off during a move because the plastic was brittle, only 2 of the fan headers worked and you could not have the RGB turn off when you shut off the pc.
    Ive been looking for a gpu and was going to get a 4080 TUF but I heard about the controversy with the 3d v-cache, I was meddling with the idea until the 7900 GRE and I was still thinking of getting a TUF RX card just for the heat sync. I've been moving to ASRock parts and I'm not loyal to them but they actually... you know... FUNCTION. I was having so many issues because of that ROG board, the Taichi isn't perfect but its far more functional compared to the ROG.

    And most of the Thumb sticks problems could be avoided if these companies would switch to the hall effect sensors. My Gulikit Kingkong Pro 2 have these, they are working wonderful and the thumbsticks should work basically forever without any drifting issues. The only reason most companies don't use them is because they know most costumers will just by new ones once the stick has issues ...

    I got myself a TUF F15 2022 model (i7-12700H, RTX 3060), after not even a year of usage with the battery capped at 60%, I have lost 16% of it's capacity. the power management on this laptop is extremely bad, brand new didn't even last 6 hours. the laptop constantly pulls power from the battery and now every time it does that the cpu is capped at 25w until reboot.

      @@PartyPhil1 for one, the laptop itself should try and not pull power from the battery, this caused the battery to be trickle charged, resulting in the rapid health decline
      and for second, the laptop with the CPU and GPU at full wattage, which is almost never possible due to the thermal constraints, will pull only 230w (115+115, charger is 240w), in the real world I have never seen the CPU going above 60w (max of 80-90w) let alone 90 to 115w, this leaves with a total power draw of about 180w if we take that the CPU has settled on ~60w and the GPU is running at 115w. this is over long periods of gaming, games **really** suffer from the 25w CPU limit. there are times where the laptop would just run fine, other not.
      I forgot to mention, as soon as I remove the charge limit or raise it up to 80% the laptop runs fine, with the CPU and GPU fine and it even charges the battery at around constant +30w. it does not stop charging. so it's really either a firmware bug or really poorly designed power management.

It’ll die like 4 hours after being unplugged, and if you never unplug it, then there’s no point in it being a laptop. It just adds another moderate (or severe since it’s an Asus) liability to your setup, that being the lithium ion battery. I’d just build a desktop if I were you.
      But hey, if you’re happy with it, who am I to judge? At the end of the day it’s your setup and you can do whatever you want with it. :)

      @@PartyPhil1 with a laptop is much more easy to just carry it around whenever you got to move, instead pack a monitor, huge tower and peripherals. plus nowadays I can't sit at a desk as much as I used to.
      aside from that, I like the idea of being powerful at the desk, portable and power efficient on the go- but sadly this is not the right model. asus advertised over 8h of battery life, I knew that was a lie, but less than 6h is really just- weak, and that's at 100% charge, taking the power limit into a count, yeah- you can guess
      right now I'm debating if I'll still get a laptop (not Asus, looking at Lenovo's legions) or just building a mini itx build once I'm fully settled in a place.

    This is the reason why the seller and not the manufacturer needs to be responsible for the warranty. If a store pulled off stuff like that people would just buy the product from a different store and they'd lose their customers. And if the brand of the product acts like this to the store no store would want to sell their products.

    I don't understand how Asus got so popular. I have only used 2 tablets and 1 laptop from Asus and they gave me too much trouble from both the hardware and software. They ended up eating dust in my closet and I've never purchased anything from Asus since 2015. The same can be said about Acer, I seriously don't understand these two brands.

    Over the past ten years I have rma'd an rx480, a monitor & a motherboard with ASUS. I had no problems with any of them & each experience was fine. Even with that being said I'll probably not buy ASUS again & give another brand a shot. I have lost all confidence.

    Class action based on the sd card slot and people being scammed. These big corporates get away with too much. remember we as customers pay your bills The steam revolt against sony case in point. stand up for your rights. We have a bigger voice in this than you think we have to live these product on a daily basis what if they did a bad job on the battery your using it and the battery combusts that is not rma and it's a manufacture defect. these products need better quality control Our governments need to implement this it goes beyond just this example.

    ASUS used to make excellent hardware because they weren't important in the relative scheme of things. Now they think they ARE important which is why my second hand laptop's power brick tried to burn a building down two years ago.
    ...+edit: prior to that laptop the last piece of ASUS equipment in my inventory for personal use was the first one - a GPU which arrived, sealed, with a bent bracket which was returned the same day because it came so factory defective the boot screen was discolored.

    They did it like a normal person specifically for audit like purposes. To see what We see as a regular run of the mill customer. It was pretty sick to see.

    I haven’t touched ASUS since a GPU that I bought in 2008 died a few months after purchase, and they didn’t respond to any of my RMA requests or follow-up emails. I was lucky that the retailer was sympathetic when I got in touch with them out of desperation and exchanged it for me, and sent the dead unit back to ASUS themselves. (Good old Overclockers UK)
    Apparently, ASUS still aren’t bothered about the little people, AKA ‘their customers’.

    Looks like I’m going to buy a Lenovo next.
    I think the Steam Deck hasn’t really had a lot of issues, because Valve probably spent years in R&D, to make sure it worked..
    The Steam Deck probably wasn’t as rushed, since it was kind of the first major player in this space.

    If the charger was out of warranty, even by days, there's nothing really to complain. I wouldn't buy a replacement charger from Asus, that's for sure.

    Saw this video the other day and its awful. Literally trying to scam customers out of money for things they didn't ask for. And totally ignore the actual issue. Not seen that from a RMA before.
    For Valve and the Steam deck, I sent back my faulty Steam Deck, to their RMA centre in the Netherlands and it was seemless and CS was good. Once they received it, they confirmed the issue and sent out a replacement and received a couple weeks later. Granted I have a ASUS motherboard, if I had to deal with this I'd be livid. No more ASUS for me, thanks.
