I think the Triumph has better build quality for the money, and sounds better of course. But they are both good bikes. The bigger difference is in the ergonomics. You should sit on both and see which feels more comfortable. Have fun and ride safe!
The seat angles forwards slightly. I would say it gets a little uncomfortable after 2 or 3 hours of riding. Not an issue if you make frequent stops. I wouldn't do any long, multi-day trips on it without some sort of seat cover.

Great video! I’ve got 500 miles on mine and love it more every time I ride it. Really feel like the engine breaks in around the 400-500 mile mark and opens up a lot. Are you still on the stock Metzelers?
I think you tried doing that here at 0:14 but it didn’t worked. And you were in the Road mode after that and I can see couple of times your traction control kicking in and the indicator showing ABS off and TC off were not lit in the cluster as well. I carefully checked it because I had the same issue with turning on the OFF Road mode on my scrambler too. 😂
Probably yes, but I think this video demonstrates that 400X is perfectly capable of handling these types of roads when necessary like few trips to summer cottage in a year.
@@thekevinfranklin Definitely! I am thinking of getting bike for next summer and currently 400x is my top choice but I think I should check adventure bikes also. I want something that is like 80% paved road and maybe 20% offroad. Most of the off roads I plan to ride are gravel roads like the last part of your video. 400x seems like perfect fit for me. Maybe some Trail 2 tossed in.
Great video well done think I will buy one that’s my style of riding
without any wording, Amazing video, you prove this motorcycle offroad capability and your riding skill.
The sound of the bike is like singing a lullaby to me ❤
I literally felt the vibration through the speakers of my iPad lol 🎉
Making me feel as if I were the rider. Nice work.
Looks legit as a Scrambler, it handles moderate trails with ease.
dude you're gonna make me buy one of these
Do it before they raise the price. Worth every penny
Are they planning to increase the price? @@thekevinfranklin
@@sudharsan7202 New bikes almost always go up in price over time
@@thekevinfranklin yes I agree
bro the quality is amazing! I am gonna get my frist motorcycle and its gonna be this scrambler I really appreciate these videos bro tysm!
Very happy for you! Ride safe and have fun!
such a nice audio quality 💯
scrambler's sound is 😍
I loved it! Please keep creating more of these!
How relaxing! Thanks!
love the aspect ratio
That's easy stuff. The Scrambler can do a lot more than that!
great content man. good job at colour grading, if you did. you get my subscription :)
might have to make this my first bike
400's pretty ideal for a first bike. Plus since it's triumph it'll be pretty reliable too.
Thinking about this or the scram 411 for my first bike.

The sound of the bike is like a melody to my ears 😌
Did you change the stock exhaust? If yes please tell the name and details about the exhaust
Have you ridden long days? Curios how the seat is and if it's angled forward putting pressure on your hands/wrists

@@thekevinfranklin Thanks for that. I do tend to stop a lot to take photos :)

Not sure where you're riding but looks like North America. Must be brilliant driving those long open roads
This is at the border between Rhode Island and Connecticut, USA. Great roads out there for riding
How can I jack up the rear wheel to remove it? Are there swing arm bushes for this? I can't find any threaded mounts for this on the swingarm.
Are you using the stock exhaust?
Yes
Amigo que ponteira é essa? Som dela é muito top.
Stock exhaust. Straight from the factory
Loving the aspect ratio! What ratio do you shoot in? Or do you crop it during editing? Cheers.
Thanks! The GoPro's native ratio is 4:3. I think it looks great so I keep it uncropped
@@thekevinfranklin awesome! Keep it coming
Off road mode.?

Yup. The stock tires are great for me because I'm on pavement 95% of the time
any after market exhaust or is it stock? Btw love from India❤❤
Looking Solid off-road, but can you do a wheelie.
How to do wheelie
recording device??
Tascam DR-40X
Are you using off-road mode?
Yes for the trails, not for the gravel road.

You can see it clearly on this 7:38
The TC is kicking in several times as the wheel goes on tractionless
I think this road is more suitable for mountain motorbikes
Probably yes, but I think this video demonstrates that 400X is perfectly capable of handling these types of roads when necessary like few trips to summer cottage in a year.
Or for fun every week

Dude. Use your legs and stand on the bike. Doing off-road seating is not for that bike...
Well yeah. That's why I stood up when I needed to.
nice video, got one after watching it
The exhaust is modified right? My one doesn't sounds like these
No modifications. Microphone is just closer to the exhaust than your ears would be, so it sounds a little different
