The exhaust is modified right? My one doesn't sounds like these
No modifications. Microphone is just closer to the exhaust than your ears would be, so it sounds a little different

Quick question: Is the audio preprocessed? The mid and high level are so strong.
Since my recorder is stuffed in a backpack, it loses a decent amount of high frequencies. So I did some EQ to make it sound more like what I hear when I ride. And some auto-volume leveling

I think the Triumph has better build quality for the money, and sounds better of course. But they are both good bikes. The bigger difference is in the ergonomics. You should sit on both and see which feels more comfortable. Have fun and ride safe!

Thanks! The GoPro's native ratio is 4:3. I think it looks great so I keep it uncropped

Bro, I'm thinking of taking the Scrambler 400x in a week, but I think the handling is better on the Speed 400. My use is mostly in the city and I'm 6'2" tall. Please suggest which one to go for Speed or Scrambler ??
For your height, definitely get the scrambler. I'm also 6'2" and it's almost too small. The handling is great on both bikes. Sit on both before you make a decision!

As far as I know, all of the Triumph 400s are made in India. But this one was built for the US market

This is at the border between Rhode Island and Connecticut, USA. Great roads out there for riding

How can I jack up the rear wheel to remove it? Are there swing arm bushes for this? I can't find any threaded mounts for this on the swingarm.

Great video! I’ve got 500 miles on mine and love it more every time I ride it. Really feel like the engine breaks in around the 400-500 mile mark and opens up a lot. Are you still on the stock Metzelers?
Yup. The stock tires are great for me because I'm on pavement 95% of the time

400's pretty ideal for a first bike. Plus since it's triumph it'll be pretty reliable too.
Looks legit as a Scrambler, it handles moderate trails with ease.

I think this road is more suitable for mountain motorbikes
Probably yes, but I think this video demonstrates that 400X is perfectly capable of handling these types of roads when necessary like few trips to summer cottage in a year.

@@thekevinfranklin Definitely! I am thinking of getting bike for next summer and currently 400x is my top choice but I think I should check adventure bikes also. I want something that is like 80% paved road and maybe 20% offroad. Most of the off roads I plan to ride are gravel roads like the last part of your video. 400x seems like perfect fit for me. Maybe some Trail 2 tossed in.
The colours look quite natural on your footage. How do you edit them?
Thank you! I film in the "Flat" color profile on the GoPro and bring it into Davinci Resolve to edit and color grade
I should say it also makes a huge difference to lock your GoPro settings to 24 FPS, 50 Shutter speed and 100 ISO. If you do that, you'll have to use an ND filter in bright sunlight. GoPro's auto-exposure messes with color a lot
@@thekevinfranklin sweet, I also use an ND on my gopro with manual settings, but haven't quite mastered colour grading on Davinci yet
Have you ridden long days? Curios how the seat is and if it's angled forward putting pressure on your hands/wrists
The seat angles forwards slightly. I would say it gets a little uncomfortable after 2 or 3 hours of riding. Not an issue if you make frequent stops. I wouldn't do any long, multi-day trips on it without some sort of seat cover.

What`s your helmet mount? Very nicely shot.
Thanks! It's a generic amazon brand with 3M adhesive and a curved back. Stuck right on the chin of the helmet. Some helmet shapes need custom molded mounts (like the ones from chinmounts.com) but if your helmet surface is pretty flat, the cheap ones work great
