The Moped Style ebike segment has had a lot of competition over the last few years. The @Ride1Up REVV1 with full suspension offers a really chill ride that you can take everywhere and always count on it being fun every time (especially in its secret 35MPH+ unlocked off road mode).
🏍️💨
It’s also chill on your wallet coming in at under $2400, from a US based company thats focused 100% on eBikes. The 120mm front fork, rear suspension, UL listed battery 🔋 and overall component selection is solid and punches above its weight class compared to a lot of other brands out there that we have tested. This one is hard to beat for the price in it’s category ⚡️
We’re going to keep logging miles on the REVV1, throw some cool accessories on it and will report back soon with more long term feedback and fun tests! 📋

This is a fantastic review bro, Super entertaining! Keep it up!
Thanks! Be sure to get subbed! More to come! ⚡️
Hell yeah, thank you for making this video! No one ever does a full on off road test like this, which is what I want to see. I've been shopping for a full suspension moped style ebike, and the Revv1 has been at the top of my list with a few other contenders. This really helped with my the search!
Awesome review!! Keep them coming!
Thanks for stopping by! The reviews will flow like spice!
Another excellent e-bike review no bull, hope your channel gets bigger GL
Much appreciated!
Great review! In regards to the anti-theft, I believe there's an option for you to require a 4-digit code to be entered on the screen to unlock it.
Redlands, Ca. ?
blessings!
Nice review. I have a 72 volt revv1. I love the bike.
Nice! Must be quick!
How quick and how much do you weigh if you don’t mind me asking
How fast and how much do you weigh if you don’t mind me asking?
@@BboyMobster 215 lbs, 52 MPH. Tons of torque.
@@swarbrickjesse that’s what I want speed wise but I’m 254😭😂
What's up RG / ESG.
I'm finally looking to pull the trigger on a bike, but I'm having a hard time choosing what machine.
I'm 6'7 and the Scooters for big Dawgs was super helpful, but Im wondering if there are any recent options or any opinions on PEVs from tall homies
I order a roadrunner pro but I was told that my big ass was not fitting on that.
I found a used wolf gt with a seat and 150 miles on it.
Is this worth it? How do yall feel about used scooters
We have a lot of loves for scooter and bikes. The roadrunner pro is awesome but might be too small for you like you mentioned. That said it’s usually easier to find e-bikes with big weight capacity (this revv1 is rated to 350lbs - but it does say 6’4 is the max height recommended). Stability on ebikes with the bigger tires will generally be a bit better than most seated scooters too.
@@RiderGuide thank you for the response! Will look more into of your recent bike reviews
Bro if you enable boost mode, it's even peppier, and faster by a couple mph
Thanks for the feedback! Appreciated
I’ve never heard of boost mode on this. I thought it once had unlock mode.
@@BboyMobster the version 2 of this bike (which are the latest batches if you bought one recently) has off road mode, and a boost mode that will give you 35 amps from the controller instead of the 28 amps you get in off road mode. Once you sign the waiver, they give you instructions on how to unlock it and turn that feature on. You can toggle it on and off by holding down the minus button. You will lose range though, but I have enough amp hours where it doesn't matter to me. I leave it on full time.
@@gmanhad I literally messaged their customer service after watching this. So dope they added that but I wouldn’t want to pedal this bike and it seems to lose battery fast being wide open. I’d want a more powerful motor because it’s not fast enough for me. At that point I might as well build my own.
This seems less than the Motor Goat v3 for the same price. Am I missing something?
There are definitely some similarities. The Motor Goat v3 isn’t available for shipping right now though. It’s also a bit more expensive and 10lbs heavier. The power is intriguing though! We should be doing some Goat bike reviews in the near future when they are back in stock. Stay tuned!
I was originally gonna go with the Rev1 but ended up ordering the MG3. I like the look of the Rev1 a lil bit more overall but that extra power of the Goat grabbed my wallet with the quickness.
As for myself I like this better than that childish looking fake tank on the billy goat
I have the Billy goat v2 because the other model with the fake tank looks Really BAD.!!!!!!!!!!
With some states wanting to impose laws on motor wattage the revv1 keeps it in the wanted nominal 750w range.
Never got pulled over without pedals For 31 days I can tell you 1 thing I don't care how much it cost License plates I will never drive a bike unless it's direct drive Those planetary gears will drive you crazy....
Thanks for the feedback!
Haha I just got to the part where you said you live in Beaumont so I just answered my own question.
Nailed it! 😁
Nice Bike.
Sure is!
Any1 know how to get into off rd mode?
Hit up their us-based customer service team and they can walk you through the simple process for unlocking the bike. ride1up.com/contact/
@@RiderGuide cheers for the reply 👍
Get off rode and then add boost mode. It'll give 35 amps instead of 28amps
This still isn’t powerful enough for me. I need at least 50 mph. I love the styling of this and how people say it rides smoothly. Amazing review.
Thanks for watching. It can be modified to 72v to go even faster. We might try it with ours!
@@RiderGuide how fast will that make it? I’m a big guy. Plus it’s only a 750w motor.
@@BboyMobster50+ but you gotta be ok with spending money and time modifying.
@@RiderGuide not worth it to me. I appreciate your help.
@@BboyMobstermost ebikes require you to spend money if you want it to go that fast. If you don't want to go through all that hassle, you're better off with a motorcycle. It heavy enough to sustain your weight and obviously alot faster than a 72v ebike.
Add the cage, it gives the bike a whole different look
Will do!
4secs 0 to 20 if that’s GPS verified that’s the fastest 750 on the market that’s just as fast as Billygoat and Wired that are 1500+ watts!
We have a new Dragy GPS speed tester on the way to retest more scientifically. Stay tuned! 😁
Never would the rev1 do 0-20 in 4 seconds!!!! The 60 volt wired freedom does it in a little over 5 seconds. 0-20 on the rev1 is a little over 7 seconds throttle only. That's like saying the rev1 is around the same acceleration as the AR grizzly!!!
So the turn signal work perfect just like cars! Everyone forgets... Also you dont ride if your removing the fendors .. who wants all that water up there backs..
Thanks for stopping by!
This doesn’t compare to the Ariel rider x class. Well better and more established company. Also the x class is a joy to peddle due to the actual gear set
I have an x class and my Revv1 smokes the x class. It's not even close, especially when you enable boost mode.
The rev 1 has higher top speed but the x class definitely has more acceleration
52 volt x class I'm talking about not the discontinued 48 volt version
We think it’s an upgrade to the AR!
@gmanhad When you say that the rev1 smokes the aerial rider, do you mean in top end speed or acceleration? 52v version ar. I used to have the x-class 52v. I would have to see a head to head race cause both bikes have 52 volt bafang motors but the x-class has 1000 watt and a 33 Amp controller. The rev1 has a 750 watt and 28 Amp controller. Plus the x-class is a lighter bike
The bike is a great value, I would recommend going with a 3 to 3.5 tire setup! It performs much much better.
