Probably the best video I've seen about the Jackrabbit(s), very well done. Seeing real world situations on a vehicle designed around practicality is really nice to see and I'm sure helpful for people interested.
Great review. Jackrabbits are awesome! I bought the XG and absolutely love it. I’m 6’5, 260lbs and it moves me around town with no problem at all. It’s by far the most practical ebike on the market with real life use cases. You don’t need an e-bike to go 50mph and 100 miles, nobody will use an e-bike like that. What they will use an e-bike for daily is a quick trip around town or to do errands or take it on a trip and that’s exactly what the Jackrabbit does better than anything else on the market.
That is awesome!
Awesome 👍
Thx !
Great review. I like that it easily folds up and stores away in a RV, van, boat, etc. But with no pedals you're completely dependent on battery power. It also may not follow proper guidelines for trails and bike paths, because legally without pedals, it's not really a bicycle.
Thanks for stopping by!
The extra-sized battery does make the OG a more appealing prospect if there aren't many hills you have to worry about. I am still curious if the bike could handle a clamp on rear rack or if the frame would line it up at an angle.
Thanks for the feedback!
Their optional, quck-release rear cargo rack/basket lines up flat to the ground. (The clamp's attacment angle matches the seat post angle.)
How do they handle hills?
Depends on the incline! Seems to do ok.
I'm 6'5 and 260lbs so definitely on the WAY TO BIG side haha, but it takes me up a very steep hill to my house. Not sure exactly what the grade of the hill is but its a workout to walk/run up. I've got the JackRabbit XG with the 500 watt motor and it gets me up the hill all beit not at 20mph. A little slower, more like 11mph. I should really just run up this hill and lose a few pounds haha.
Lol over the moon

Bout to start intercompany beef
Haha
i think the XG should be more like $1499.. not 1799
Cool! Thanks for the input.
Jetson Bolt is better deal.
The Costco bike?
@@RiderGuideYes.
Overpriced for what it is. Very basic components. A niche product.
Thanks for the feedback!
