After growing with Star Wars and seeing how far these characters developed and showed there own story it’s honestly heartbreaking to watch this.. kenobi was one of the most iconic people in this whole saga ,so much passion in this character. Long live kenobi.
In my opinion, the most honorable, well written character is that of the insightful Master Kenobi! I draw inspiration from this one of a kind, and HONORABLE Jedi Master Obi-Wan. His tribulations through life were of loss, lost, and more losing. He had perseverance when all hope would be unseen. He lived with less and in that found more. He is a hero of all volition. I draw hope from this fictionalized character as his presence in my mind “Wills me on!”
This made 😢. Obi-Wan endured so much in his life, so much tragedy and loss, ending up alone on a desert planet to watch over and protect the son of the man who was once his apprentice/brother. Most people couldn’t endure half of what he has. Obi-Wan is one of the greatest characters of the Star Wars franchise.
Kenobi's trajedy is second to Anakin's own tragic story. Kenobi survived to see everything fall apart around him, but Anakin had the weight put on his shoulders, proclaimed to be a Chosen, resented by his superiors, forced to hide his true love and eventually leads to kill her, and seduced by a dark side only to be put to slavery once more by it.
Yoda knew the republic was going to loose. It's was revealed to him on his journey to find out who was the sith. And yet they continued to fight instead of re-evaluate the war
One of the best Star Wars edits I remenber. If you think about it it's a miracle Obi Wan is still alive. In the films alone he's faced and survived Darth Maul, skydiving through Coruscant traffic, Jango Fett, being chased and shot through an asteroid field, a giant mantis (cuffed and unarmed), Count Dooku twice, General Grevious, and prime Anakin Skywalker.
This deserves like millions of likes, i was 5 minutes in and it`s a masterpiece! The amount of work put into this is jaw dropping, hope you kept going from here amazing talent!

Same for the council, they marginalized and isolated Annakin then put him close to the most manipulative entity in the galaxy. Annakin made bad choices then was forced to accept a deal with the devil and became a broken yet powerful Sith lord. IMO, the greatest character in cinema is Annakin Skywalker and his inner demon. Lucas is such an amazing storyteller.....now, about that dialogue. 🙂

Both Obi wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker were Fatally flawed and that is what makes their stories so heartbreaking and sad because in end both failed not only the people they loved and the Jedi order . Because They were simply and beautifully human and as such they failed at being the perfect Jedi that Yoda, Mace and the other more dogmatic council members thought they should be.

I just had a thought, obi wans experience with maul and vader is very similar. Obi wan fails to follow through in most of his battles. He assumed maul died which lead to many suffering from his eventual return. Is this necessarily obi wans fault not really, the depths of the dark sides power was not very well known by many in the current jedi order. However he failed to learn from what did happen, when it came to Anakin/Vader. He assumed anakin would die on Mustafar, hmm how'd that assumption go last time. And even still when he fought him again and discovered anakin survived and became even stronger, he still didn't follow through on killing him. I know it goes against the Jedi code, but still if you breakdown a lot of the star wars story, so much suffering could have been avoided had many characters made a different choice. Yes I know and understand that every choice was made because that is what their character would have made, and thats fine. I just noticed the parallel and thought it was interesting.
