    *Yes! We are really happy with my **Bestt.Digital** projector. It is definitely recommended for those who are looking for something very good but affordable.*

    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    yes it does have a built in speaker. It is loud but not the best quality. However, you can hook up external speakers via an auxiliary cable.

  • @CottageandCompany
    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    yup!...you can control the screen size by moving the projector closer or further from the wall. -KL

    thanks. Bigger projectors have corrections either manual or digital for the image being wonky if placed at an angle to the floor or if the wall or screen isnt fully straight. that correction is called key stone correction if my memory serves me right. regards

  • @CottageandCompany
    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks! it would have to be a flat surface in order for it to be a clear picture. Any angled surface would cause a distorted picture. With that being said, using the ceiling as your screen is a great idea. I have heard of people doing that with great success.

    You can use any speakers that have an AUX cable input. And yes you can plug it in and still watch the movie. As for the dvd player, if it doesn't have an hdmi, than I dont think it will work. You can try looking for an RCA to hdmi adapter, but im not sure how well that will work. Good luck, thanks for watching!

    hmm...do you have the correct adapter? If you plug the projector in you may find something under displays on your macbook.

    This projector was great I loved how small it was, but in the end I had to drop it because I realize I find myself in a lot of situation where I need to be able to play directly from my usb. I picked up an AAXA model in the end that was a little bigger though

  • @CottageandCompany
    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    nope, In order to use the ipad with the projector you need the special ipad adapter. Good thought though...I wish it was that simple!

    Im not sure I understand your first question. As for the temperature, it does get warm, but I wouldn't say hot. Im not sure what type of lamp it has in it. You can find the spec's for the projector on brookstones website, if that helps. Thanks for watching!

  • @CottageandCompany
    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Not sure, I have watched movies on it witha full charge, and had some extra battery life at the end. The specs say 2 hour battery life though.

  • @KaymaniBRUH
    @KaymaniBRUH 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    hey ! great video review & by far the best I've seen. im still a little on the edge of buying this. And reading the reviews on the brookstone website about the pros and cons.. im still not fully bought. i wanted to know when you project i.e watching a video on youtube or something... does it have to be flat on a surface for clear picture? i was thinking since my room is very very dark i wanted to know if i point the lens/projector up to my ceiling and watch it as im laying flat on my back.

  • @CottageandCompany
    @CottageandCompany  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    The projector worked well on my laptop. I'm not positive, but the screen issue may be an image quality compatibility problem with your computer. Try adjusting the screen resolution on your computer. Thats my best guess. Thanks for watching!

    I bought this product and am trying to watch video/presentations with it by connecting to my macbook pro but it isn't working. I made sure I had my macbook set up to mirror displays but no success. Brookstone has no tech support so talking to them was useless. Any suggestions?

    I don't have one yet ;P I'm trying to figure out if it's worth having one. As long as the image is not cut off around the edges, I'll be a happy bunny. I presume you're confirming that they don't?

    This projector gets the job done pretty well. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxS9P8zTOcmQg-hH0QeUi3dspOLyYgQ6dH Bear in mind it's a mini projector but all things considered the picture quality is pretty good. The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

    this was one of the more pointless technology reviews I've seen in a long time. Basically, the first 10 of the 11 minutes is reviewing size and shape of the item. The last minutes is FINALLY the product being tested, BUT it's only tested using the iPad when it's also applicable for at least 3 other products (iPhone, laptop). This review is basically watching someone touch the individual items one at a time for for 11 minutes.

    This little thing is silly.. Unless you absolutely need a projector that fits in your pocket, it's a waste!!. It "accepts" 1080p, But in reality, it's native resolution is only 480p (858x480). So, nowhere near HD.... And it's paltry 85 lumens means the image will not only be lacking in sharpness, but also very dim..
    All this would be forgivable if not for that hefty $300 price tag. Just a bit more gets you a genuine HD projector with enough lumens to actually throw out a nice large, bright and sharp image. Which is the point of a projector in the first place ; ).

      Indira Allfree That's true. If you really need a pocket projector, this little guy's probably not bad..
      Just seemed crazy to me at the time because I had just purchased an Optoma projector for the same price with native 1080p res, and a super bright 3000 lumens.
