Slap a Raspberry pi, powerbank, and a keyboard and you got a computer on the go. Get a game controller, and install Retro Pi and you got yourself a portable retro game console. Great video
You complain about the pixels being too big but you have the tiny thing hella far away from the wall. You should really treat it like a short throw projector and don't put it so far from the wall to make a larger screen area then review it as having a "problem with bad pictures cause the pixels are too big" I give your review a 3/10 Yeah I reviewed your review you're welcome :)
A good use for this is art projects and holiday light shows. The relatively cheap cost and fidelity in such a small package allows the projector to be versatile and you could easily buy a whole bunch of these to do different effects or visuals. Definitely a cool gadget!
Ayy it's better than i expected! It has battery too which is handy! The 240p resolution is a bit of a turn off, but for $15 that's not bad. This is a good video! Make more of these cheap gadget videos for poor people like me!
I tested a full-sized projector before, but they are not that great. The fan get's louder and louder over the years, and it heats the room up like a plasma tv. I am thinking about modding a projector to use a LED instead of the bulb, but it is not as easy as it looks on the surface.
the reason the fan gets louder is probably because you got some really cheap projector that doesn't even have a fan filter, and replacing the bulb with an LED won't be easy as the LED will certainly not be bright enough.
Leberkas Semmel ein Deutscher!!! Servus😂 Da würdest du aber ganz schön beschissen, schau dir mal den „Vivibright gp80“ an, kostet 60€ und unterstützt Full HD.... hab den und der is echt gut für den preis
Angelo and breeze . Can both of you stop this conversation ? I just said " god " .... What is wrong with that ..? And please don't use abusive language ...
I think you placed the projector kinda far from the wall, but it's really a nice thing to do to show its capabilities, like holy sheep that's small! I still appreciate your review, and if I'm not broke anymore, I'll buy this.
It is AMAZING for 15 dollars, I had one but gave it to a friend. Been looking for another for a year, once in a while one pops up on youtube for 30 bucks, and i just got one. I am looking for more. A projector on your keychain, how amazing is that? It is not to give you a 100 inch screen, it is designed to give you a 3 foot screen in a dark room, or a 12 inch screen if you are sitting by the wall. The nearest pocketable projector will cost you 100 bucks
The only downside is you cannot use BlueTooth of WiFi. Because it's keychain model, you want use it to show videos from your smartphone. A separate HDMI cable is not very handy idea. You still need big thing to play videos, so the purpose of "portable" is little gone here. Unless you have good mobile HDMI player on battery power. No wireless playback possible. Not sure if chromecast will work, because you need seperate USB power from powerpack.
That, a phone and a Bluetooth controller and u can game and camp at the same time, progesterone onto the side of the tent. Should probably bring a portable battery charger also
Aren't there any smaller projectors available and affordable for general public? I need one for attaching it to an Vector mini robot. The size of an 18650 would be nice..
It looks like it could be fun for movies but useless for pretty much anything else. And the screen on which it's being projected will affect the image. Since it's so cheap, it would be great for kids who want to watch TV or movies projected onto the wall.
product merely seems so so, but the information and presentation from the video creator seems good. probably wont buy this product, but would definitely watch another review from thia guy.
So, this could be useful when traveling, I would imagine. Especially, if you got kids..in the car, on a plane, a train, a bus..whatever. Being that it's $15 you won't be heartbroken if it gets lost, stolen or broken vs your $800 cell phone or laptop etc. So, there's that! Thank you 4 sharing!
That projector must have been seriously on sale, they must have wanted to get rid of it badly. The newer Brookstone projectors on Ebay are around $60 to $300 and they're similar quality only a bit bigger. Even despite the low resolution, the room really needs to be super dark, even another screens light can make it too dim. That and it should only be projecting to the size of the image on the screen selection page in respect to the image next to it for screen 1 which would show it with the proper pixel sizes for that resolution. instead of the pixels being stretched to epic proportions. Sure it can project larger, but that's only really good if you're across the room and can't see the pixels. Still, for $15, that's a major bargain.
Great review, showcased the product very well, but I think in means to improve the quality of your vids maybe dont talk for so long about the details. I understood what you meant but it became repetitive (?) . Cool video though Id hella buy this projector
Msdj Jdndn Agree. The video is almost 8min long and then only example of picture quality was about a minute long from a static PC screen. How is it with movies? games? Delay/ lag? Etc...
A regular 100 watt light bulb is 1600 lumens. So 100 lumens will ONLY work in a very dark room. This is 15 lumens. But i had one, for 30 bucks it is a fun toy. Sadly there is no place to buy them now.
i got a m3 i thin it was called ,it also had focus dial ,its ok to have projecting on my ceiling i got a screen up there but frankly they are only ok for background i have it projecting and ocean scene with the wave laping the sandy beach and its fine for that ,only . as the resolution is not good
Would you want to sell yours? I'm looking to buy one just for an experiment for something I'm working on, but I found one on ebay for $37 plus $7 shipping. I'm Canadian so that would be about $58 😳 hardly the $15 I would prefer to spend. And if my experiment works then I may need to buy them in bulk.
240p kinda sucks, but it's $15. I might buy one, I could throw it in my Nintendo Switch case and have a portable big screen. Yeah, it's not HD, but it's better than crowding around a tablet. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
O!Technology Games like Mario Kart and Stardew Valley come to mind. Only problem is, I can't find this projector on Amazon. I was considering buying it when it was on sale a few months ago, but I didn't know if it was any good, so I passed. I'm starting to regret that decision now.
This projector + portable battery + raspberry pi zero + gamepad= the perfect dark spaces-retro emulation-cumbersome but cool system! ...Just read Joaquin Dayrit's coment below... not the 1rst one to think of this... as usual lol
I guess it's a neat novelty gimmicky toy that is better then those toy projectors they had in the 60s like the VINTAGE GIVE A SHOW PROJECTOR BY KENNER 1963 that targeted young kids that would just project still images like a slide projector. For 15 bucks it aint that bad and you can also use it as a flash light. You definitely got a good deal on it, it's going for 49 bucks on Amazon and 59 bucks on E-bay.
This isn't 240p. Si ce the box says 4:3 I'm assuming it's 240 pixels in height. Thus the resolution is 240x320. 240p is 240x426. Interesting thing nonetheless!
It's ok, you won't notice any drop in performance if you watch 4k movies on it, because they are shit anyway! 4k downscaled to 240p will look just fine!😆😄😄😅😅😄😄😆😆😆😄😄😅😄😆😆😆😄😅😅😆😆😆😆😄😅😅😄😆😆😆😄😅😅😅😄😆😆😄😅
hi i have one for some time now and I finally i desided to turn it on and i charged it for hours and it dosen't work..... it just dosen't....... btw my grammar is bad so sr for that
EVERYONE THAT ASKS FOR A LINK READ THE DESCRIPTION AND WATCH THE VIDEO. ITS FROM A STORE AND IT WAS ON SALE HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO GIVE A LINK.
You could have easily provided a link to the product! What a shitty review!
Why make the title appear as if it's available and not just available but for $15?? Clickbaiting people looking for reviews is scummy dude....
You could at least provide the barcode. Then people can use it to find the product at a retailer of there choosing.
lol yeah idiots dont know how to read discriptions or even search online for a alternative that is as cheap as this one
O!Technology Don't have to be a dick about it.
Slap a Raspberry pi, powerbank, and a keyboard and you got a computer on the go. Get a game controller, and install Retro Pi and you got yourself a portable retro game console. Great video
Joaquin Dayrit
Howw a raspberry pi
Mitch Plays HDMI
Joaquin Dayrit or just buy a Bluetooth controller and use your phone...
I'd use a raspberry pi over my Chrome cast. Because I'd set up as a android tv.
euan todd great idea actually
4:37 to see it on

Haha yea! For $15 I can't complain, I can still watch videos on this. Thanks Dar I'll see what else lmao.
Darren Asmoro I think the next one up has higher res
At least it’s not 140p
lol it has been 2 months

Wow. This is not a bad deal. I got myself a 240p projector, but it was $40

My first computer was a Tandy TRS-80. I'm not complaining about that resolution. Especially for the price, size, and convenience.
I think you placed the projector kinda far from the wall, but it's really a nice thing to do to show its capabilities, like holy sheep that's small! I still appreciate your review, and if I'm not broke anymore, I'll buy this.
Wait a year and watch the next generation blow your socks off!!!
Wow....i didn't know they made projectors that small. I want one just for the sake of it. ....thanks for sharing
Looked a lot better than I expected
It is AMAZING for 15 dollars, I had one but gave it to a friend. Been looking for another for a year, once in a while one pops up on youtube for 30 bucks, and i just got one. I am looking for more. Could you connect this with the aux cord to a mobile phone?
If you get a dual female hdmi adapter you can hook up a casting stick( Chromecast etc) to it .
The only Brookstone left in Idaho went out of business a couple years ago, i doubt that store will be around for much longer
The only downside is you cannot use BlueTooth of WiFi. Because it's keychain model, you want use it to show videos from your smartphone. A separate HDMI cable is not very handy idea. Looks alright, for $15 i be happy with it........ awesome vid man.

I wanna project something that's about an arm's length away or less from the wall. Will it still be a larger screen and able to focus?
Would you happen to know if you're able to continuously run it off the charging cable?
Aren't there any smaller projectors available and affordable for general public? I need one for attaching it to an Vector mini robot. The size of an 18650 would be nice..
I'd use it for retro gaming and have a battery pack ri extend its life.
Is it good for using as a mural template for airbrushing on let's say side of a can?
I may buy one to look at video I've just shot with my DSLR. When I don't have my computer handy.
so basically, buy something like this if you want to say to people "I own a projector"
Just... don't ever let them see it
It looks like it could be fun for movies but useless for pretty much anything else. And the screen on which it's being projected will affect the image. Since it's so cheap, it would be great for kids who want to watch TV or movies projected onto the wall.
For that price that is impressive, I wasn't sure it'd even turn on
product merely seems so so, but the information and presentation from the video creator seems good. probably wont buy this product, but would definitely watch another review from thia guy.
I searched online for this. Nowhere to find in such rate.
"A box with some drawings"
(Shows a box that clearly has photographs on it)
I have one but I expected it to be beter

intro music?
How big is the projection on the wall? Like 1 foot by 1 foot?

The intro song is Ship Wrek - Vessel

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'll try to do better next time i do another review.
A regular 100 watt light bulb is 1600 lumens.
So 100 lumens will ONLY work in a very dark room.
This is 15 lumens.
But i had one, for 30 bucks it is a fun toy. Sadly there is no place to buy them now.
Use it as an advance ghost light, you need a looping video! 👍
i got a m3 i thin it was called ,it also had focus dial ,its ok to have projecting on my ceiling i got a screen up there
but frankly they are only ok for background
i have it projecting and ocean scene with the wave laping the sandy beach and its fine for that ,only .
as the resolution is not good
Would be good for a NES Classic or Android box
Thanks for the review.
What's the best budget projector, please?
What's name of tune 4:58?
Can i used it with my smartphone?
This would be great in use with halloween decorations

Not half bad for $15
Would you want to sell yours?
I'm looking to buy one just for an experiment for something I'm working on, but I found one on ebay for $37 plus $7 shipping.
I'm Canadian so that would be about $58 😳 hardly the $15 I would prefer to spend.

Should've shown some video playing through it if that's what you said it does best.
That would be awesome for tracing art work on canvas

I recommend a Sony mp-cl1a projector
Never coming back to your channel you take so long to actually show the projector screen

Where to purchase this projecter
If I can get this to work with my phone and download vids that hold up well at low resolution I think it's totally worth it
Does this connect to a smartphone?
Met malem bang mau nanya itu projector yg kecil belum bs blutoot yaa
Whats the brand amd.model?
Can you use it with smart phone?
Can you watch TV through that portable projector
Not bad for $15.. used as mobile movie projector... its perfect.

Would anyone know the name? of the cord I would need for this projector to connect to my Android phone?

I don't get it why high quality projectors are so expensive.. This technology is from 1895 and it cost more then 4k HDR TV.
