While you certainly pointed out some good ones, my most anticipated JRPG for now is Trails Through Daybreak. This one is scheduled for July 5, and I will dive in the moment it is released. As a side remark: It's fun to see so much games go back to the pixelated roots. Personally I am no fan of it, but at the same time it has it's charms. Maybe that's because I started playing games years ago with Citadel on the BBC-B computer, and have seen games evolving from those pixelated and rather primitive (but very charming) games, into the graphics we have today. It was great to see that growth from a few pixels to the almost realistic graphics today (although I like the more anime style of the modern JRPG games). It feels like we have come full circle now and heading back to more primitive graphics. And I am not sure I like that "nostalgia trip" to be honest.
I backed Runa. White Raven looks rad Metaphor looks so freaking amazing. Action and turn based combat?? Yes please. Sacrifice looks really fun. It's Suikoden 1/2 remaster going to come out? I hope so .... Two of my favorite games of all time. I have forge of the fae on my wishlist. Looks really great . I also backed quartet. Shadows of Adam was really fun and I love the people at something classic. Sky Ocean looks really cool. Can't believe skies of Arcadia is just sitting there. No remaster. No sequel. Boomtown is also on my wishlist. Looks like it will be a fun mix. I also backed Alzara. Love the protagonist's design. Also we need more female protags. Love your videos man. I know I'm a broken record but going to keep saying it.
Dude thanks so much for the kind words - I really appreciate that. Yeah these games look all amazing. I wish I could support these Kickstarter Games financially but I never get around getting a Credit Card haha. Soon though, soon!
Bloomtown pixel art is so beautiful. it's insane. In the jrpg my number one is easily "The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak". We were in the Erebonia Arc since 2013! Now we can finally live the Calvard Arc. I also have other games in my list Ys X Fantasy Life i Inazuma Eleven Victory Road Decapolice Keylocker Dragon Quest 3 Remake Mario and Luigi Brothership (can't wait for this one!) :)
Ive had my eye on runa for a little while definitely grabbing that one. Theres some fantastic games coming out still suikoden remaster is also one im very hyped for!
With Metaphor ReFantazio, the RPG I'm most looking for are Clair-Obscur Expedition 33 (please be as good as you look !!!) and Alzara Radiant Echoes (whick I backed on KS), two games developped by 2 studios set in Montpellier, what the hell is happening in this city ??? Lost Hellden has my interest too, but I'm more cautious, I'm not so found of their previous game, Astria Ascending... Runa seems interesting too.
I think the Playtest for SacriFire should still ve available on Steam. Not sure though. If you get a chance you should check it out, it made a great impression.
@@feiitogaming You can see that most of these games have pre set characters. I could be wrong.l about some of them to be fair. I'm not shitting on them or your video. Just stating an opinion based on what I'm seeing in the footage.
Most JRPGs have you play as predefined characters and have a more linear narrative. Western RPGs tend to be the ones where you create a character from scratch and are free to roam about as you please. There are exceptions to this, but IMO this generalization is fairly accurate.
why are no turned based RPG as good as any of the final fantasies to come out, for the love of god FF7 and FF8 the old version looked better and had more effort then these games. like maybe 2 look like they could keep up but barely what is this genre come too.... going the way or RTS its sad
I am not interested in retro 1980 pixelated garbage. I want to see NEXT GEN PS5 Jrpgs. I only saw like 3 games that are decent. Expedition 33 is the perfect example of what a next gen PS5 Jrpg should look like. Enough of this "let's stay in the 80s forever" pixelated trash nonsense. It is not the "best". It is garbage.
What RPG are you most looking forward to?
Kickstarted Runa, really excited for Expedition 33 but the others also look great as well... so many games !

Totally added Lost Hellden to the wishlist, looks dope. Thanks for the vid dude.
Awesome! Yeah Lost Hellden looks really good.
Great list!! I'm gonna save this and use it as a wish list! 💪🎮
Thanks dude. That's awesome.
great list man :) you should do an upcoming tactics rpg video too
Lots of cool games on here that you don't see on other lists so I appreciate that! Forge of the Far looks pretty sweet!
Thank you. That's always what I aim for: introducing people to new games ☺️
I backed Runa.

Awesome! Fingers crossed the Suikoden Remasters will actually come out this year.
@@feiitogaming we can hope right? I know they were holding off because of the eyuiden chronicles stuff coming out
White Raven looks awesome!!!
Love this list bro, plenty of great choices in here! I swear those Suikoden remasters are never coming out, we've been waiting forever! 🤣
Hahaha I know dude, we're waiting for quite some while now. It's ridiculous 🤣

That sacrifire is looking good 🤔
Good list 👍

👍🏿😎👍🏿
Not enough character customization in these games. True RPGs let you play as your own character.
How would you know that dude? These games aren't even out yet. I'd say let's wait and see how these games turn out. 😎

@@acidwizard6528 That's true.
Most of them aren't even turn based. They are hybrid or real time

I'm 49 and grew up through pixelated garbage. It's 2024. Devs need to stop living in the past.
