I cant disagree with "make sure not to touch the sticky butyl layer." Although butyl is self adhesive and self healing and absolutely is not at risk of a little hand oil keeping it from making bond. So I agree and disagree at once. 😂
Bought a pack put as much as I could into the doors makes a load of difference, had to use my mum’s face roller lol because I forgot to buy the roller.
Hello , I have a 92 Dakota . I was going to put -POR 15 45404 rust prevention coating on the metal first . My question is will your sound deader stick to this ? Thx Mouse
Hi Mouse. Yes, it will. The best way to test if anything will stick is to test it with sticky tape. If the tape sticks down firmly so will the sound deadener 👍
Can you help us out with an answer, mate? Would these butyl sheets be any good for sound proofing a grow tent or is the idea that they're in contact with metal and absorb the metal vibrations?
G'day, I'm about to lay some deadener in my 1997 Holden VS Commodore. Should I remove the original bitumen deadener first? Why? What if I don't? What's the difference? Cheers mate!
Hi Ryan, when using a roller its quite easy to roll out any bubbles. If you get a stubborn one, just a small slit with a knife, roll over it and you are sorted.

😆 👍
u should do the before and after thing. Starts the engine, turn a decibel meter on before deadening and after.
Ni Nate. We did this in another video th-cam.com/video/DUMj9v0iuJI/w-d-xo.html check it out at about the 20:30 minute mark of the video 👍
Wonder if this would be good to do some dampening for the new stereo system I just put in my car, to get rid of some of the rattles.

Hi Luqman. Which country are you from? These meet all Australian safety/health requirements 👍
