I had the absolute best time filming this series with the wonderful Mum’s! I’m so proud to share our culture and I can’t wait for the next two episodes! Can anyone guess what they might be?!?
Sepi, I just love your overall energy and quirkiness on the show! Keep up the awesome work and I really loved learning about Iranian cultural dishes thanks to you!
It is completely refreshing to see people giving actual reactions and not that fake spit out, overdramatic, I’ve been poisoned, bs that every other person do in these videos. Come through, Iranian moms! *Not the children of the moms in the “other” videos defending their mommy’s honor. 😜
they’re so respectful unlike other moms from other countries, they gave constructive advice and weren’t being overdramatic about certain things, go you!
That's one reason I don't care for the "judge other mother's xxx dish" because the wrinkled noses and rude remarks are uncalled for. It's just different than yours' it's not necessarily poorly made. But the negativity and drama makes for entertainment.
Thank you and the other 2 moms for giving genuine reactions. I find that 95% of people in these videos are overdramatizing and reacting like they were fed rat poison.
These three were the best group of contestants so far. Giving compliments, respectful of the other ladies' methods of cookery, and very kind and FAIR in their scoring. I get really fed up with people spitting food out into their napkin, as if they'd been fed bitter poison. These three were just wonderful, and I would love to see them in future videos with another Iranian dish.
Its iranian culture, we are mistaken as bad people due to our goverment and stereotypes the internet has given us. Iranian people have done so much and have such a great culture and rich history when it comes to food your eyes will open wide as an owl every time lol. Look at the other moms from other countries and look how judgemental theyre. dont get me wrong anybody can be mean. but just look at the videos.
First time I'm seeing contestants being nice, polite, friendly and more importantly in the context FAIR. They are usually (both men and women) a bit bitchy and down scoring other contestants. This video reflects very well on Iranian people.
I've never had Ghormeh Sabzi before, but now I'm intrigued. All of the Mum's dishes looked tasty. And the scoring was so close for all of them. This was a good episode.
Persian food is delicious! Hope you find a good restaurant (or friend) and try. I have worked with Iranian people and they blessed me with their homemade food 😋 So good! 😊
Not a foul mouth, I can tell these women cooked well, I know a good ghormeh sabzi when I see one 😍 and if anybody here hasn’t tried it yet, what are you doing in life!!! It’s the best dish
@@yourfavpersuasion9385 not at all, it tastes like tangy, sour, savory, herby roasted stew. We use special greens in it, the flavor is unlike any green stew you can have
@@AtharieAlSalem I don't eat meat, but as a child we had lamb and I don't like lamb. The rice would be too crunchy for me. My sister in law is Iranian, and she makes really wonderful vegan dishes as a side for me at family events. She is a great cook. Not sure if I have ever seen this dish mentioned. I will ask her.
Yes I agree! This was an enjoyable episode to watch! I wish they would have told the other mom that she was a close winner! I haven’t tired it but now I want too ❤
I ate Ghormeh Sabzi two times, and found it really strange. Unappealing, dark look, and an undefinable, overwhelming mixed taste.... Cooked way too long, like most Iranian Dishes. Only Kebabs, and Chicken with Safran-jewel-rice are really good dishes.
This is probably one of the most - if not the most - loving and respectful episodes of this series! No bashing, just real appreciation, we love to see it!
My dad does all the cooking in our house but he makes THE BEST ghormeh sabzi hands down. He makes it so good that our local Persian restaurant had to ask for his recipe!
Shout out these ladies for being nice about each others food and giving proper scores. They all seem to be on the same wave length when it comes to scoring so it makes it much fairer.
Some amazing food in Iran. We went to this tea room that had this buffet type thing going on... _WOW!!!_ My wife didn't talk for like the first twenty minutes-- she was just tasting and enjoying all these different dishes.
This was a nice episode. Each mum was nice and scored fairly and weren't derogatory or childish. This is what I like to see. BuzzFeed should do an episode where the winner cooks the dish so we can see how it's done.
I thoroughly enjoyed this video!!! Please do more and more with Persian food... I recently started to learn how to cook Persian food and this was a real treat for me!!! 💜💜💜💜 We want more Iranian mums!!!!!
They remind me of the Italian moms, they judge fairly and are supportive and give constructive criticism without demeaning the other’s dishes which is how it should be. Bring more of these moms back because they are a joy to watch!
"When you cook it your neighbours know" that's so true, our neighbours cook ghormesabzi every week and as someone who does not like the food(I know how dare I) the smell lingers for hours
You she how nice and respectful they are to each other dishes! That class and being humble they score according to the taste Great job ladies💁🏾♀️👍🏾🙏🏾🥰
I love how kind and positive they are in their feedback. Moms from other cultures just brutally roast each other for no reason. Persian people are the sweetest people in the world.
Yesss I was waiting for persian food!! You guys might of seen my comment requesting this on the last mum's review 😁 clicked so fast. Thanks! Also they are all lovely and to each other and all their dishes look amazing! Very cool how Sura from GBBO is on too 😀 craving ghormeh sabzi now. Not the prettiest dish but who cares, one of the tastiest imo
Such worderful contestants. Knowledgeable, informative and kindly stated their preferences whilst still being complimentary. Was so enjoyable to watch and learn about Ghormeh sabzi. The food looks fantastic as well.
Man this was beautiful, educational and didn't feel like a competition like the other videos of this genre. I also loved how kind how everyone and the one who didn't win was. I hope to see more positivity like this. Kudos to these beautiful Iranian moms! :)
These moms are too young. We need the old-school generation for this dish. Lol. I do have to say this was the most polite episode I’ve seen as Persians are very polite. ❤️
The most constructively critiqued episode I've seen. All the ladies had their dignity intact at the end. They all seemed very honest and did not give below marks just to ensure their own scores/results came out higher. The first and last ladies said exactly thr same thing about each other's dish. "It's similar to how I make it." They seem like they were all good cooks and knew their craft... though the middle lady was not taking credit. You did well too... I'm sure.
Wow, This is the most typical Persian video. Everyone is super knowledgeable yet so sweet and gentle. The graciousness of Persians is goals. Love from an East African girl ❤❤❤
ITS THE MOST AMAZING DISH IN THE WORLD!!!! Growing up with an Iranian mom this is literally my idea of comfort food. If I could request a last dish before I leave this world it would be THIS & Tahdig!!
As a Persian, they were all looking so good and tasty. Whenever my mom hears that i'm coming back home she makes me Ghorme Sabzi and I can easily tell when I come to the alley. The smell is everywhere on the streets. Thanks for the great content. I enjoyed it❤️
