The church at St. Just in Roseland has been there since 1261. It was built on the site of an old chapel that was built in the sixth century. A 19th century Rector, aided by John Garland Treseder, introduced many tropical plants, and the combination of the church by the tidal creek and the wonderful flowers and shrubs in the churchyard are what makes the church unique.
