Magical Christmas trees and night time walk around Trelissick, Cornwall at Christmas

- We show you the magic of Trelissick at Christmas. Trees everywhere, in fact I think I lost count! They were beautifully decorated, in colour themes throughout the house. Trelissick is a National trust property on the River Fal near Falmouth.
The old footage of the Copelands was captivating and drew me in to their joy at simply skating - I love the little boy with the chair on the ice.
Outside, the garden was illuminated to show off the woodland from beneath. I found this fascinating and mesmerising. The light gave an eerie feel as you wondered around, a little bit spooky but I loved the 'tunnel of love' best of all.

✨So enjoying these for the first time! They are more poignant than ever to watch for Christmas 2020, as I'm guessing few places will be open this year. I had no idea Trelissick House & gardens were so beautiful - especially all decked out with amazing Christmas decorations and lights. Lovely to see the vintage home movie of the ice-skating. The piano score accompanying the tour was perfect - just joyful! :)✨

BEAUTIFUL, I loved everything about this video. The music , the trees and the lights were something else, just a little bit of Heaven at this time of the year. Wishing you both a wonderful Christmas....PS I have a JC Williams camellia which looks as though it will be out for Christmas.

HI Lori, I made a Christmas cake this year which I love because I can choose the fruit that goes into it. One year my daughter picked up a blood orange instead of an orange and it has become a little family tradition to use blood orange in our Christmas cake, just for a giggle! Sarah :)

Looks fantastic very festive and looks like they have really made an effort. I you walking around a house like this last Christmas, was it the same one or a new house? It was great to see it lite up on an evening as well, looking very Christmassy, cheers Alan.
HI Alan, Last year we visited Lanhydrock, a house near Bodmin but they do not have the extensive gardens which lends themselves to illuminating. I really enjoy a wander around at night! Sarah :)
