I cannot begin to thank you enough for making these videos! I haven't taken any college courses for a couple years and didn't know where to start when it came to preparing for my TEAS exam which made things even more daunting. Thankfully, I discovered your videos and with heavy prepartion and watching your videos along with my study guides every day for the past three months, I was able to pass my TEAS exam yesterday on my first try!! If anyone is reading this and you're feeling scrambled and unsure of where to start preparing, you're in the right place with these videos! Thank you so much Nurse Cheung!!

Wow, congratulations on passing your TEAS exam on your first try! 🎉 That's an incredible achievement, especially after a break from college courses. I'm so glad to hear that the videos were a helpful part of your study routine and provided some direction in your preparation journey. It's always inspiring to hear success stories like yours. Best of luck as you move forward in your academic or professional journey - with your drive and commitment, I'm sure you're going to accomplish great things. Keep up the amazing work! 🌟📚👍🍀

@@michellewalk3123 I bought the study guide that included all the practice tests as well as the study material. I believe it was the third option that included everything including a hard copy of the ATI book! It's a little pricey but I definitely think it's worth the price because the study material gets you familiar with how ATI structures their questions, it provides you with a detailed guide on the information that you know in all of the subjects, and there are pretests and section quizzes that help you gauge the areas that you need to focus on most. It helped me A TON along with these videos!

I had 2 days to study for the TEAS test (decided I wanted to apply for the nursing program last minute!) and this video is probably the single most helpful one I watched and studied as thoroughly as I could. I also watched some of your other math and science videos. I passed with a 94% (86% in the Science section; I made a 40% on my first practice test!) having never taken an anatomy and physiology class in my life, nor microbiology. I recommend anyone in my situation watch this, the Amoeba Sister's videos on each body system and cellular processes, and take detailed notes until you're comfortable with them. I also played Delightfully Sarah's Science Review videos while doing other daily life things. Carolyn McAllister is also awesome for the Reading and English sections. I just needed to review conversions and basic formulas for math. Thank you so much!!! I'm waiting to see if I get into the nursing program.

    • @NurseCheung
      @NurseCheung  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Wow, scoring a 94% on the TEAS with just two days of preparation is absolutely incredible! 🌟 It's amazing how you dived into the study materials and made the most out of every moment. Your dedication and ability to absorb so much information in such a short time are truly impressive.
It's great to hear that the videos were a key part of your study strategy, and you've also shared some fantastic additional resources for others in a similar crunch. Your approach to immersing yourself in the material, from taking detailed notes to integrating learning into your daily routine, is really inspiring.
Thank you so much for sharing your success and the resources that helped you along the way. Fingers crossed for your nursing program application - with your determination and work ethic, I'm sure you'll do great things in the nursing field. Something important to note, there is 1 vein that carries oxygentated blood (Pulmonary Vein) and 1 artery (Pulmonary Artery) that carries deoxygenated blood. Blood flow through the heart is definitely a question on the TEAS 7. This concept will certainly confuse some students.

    • @NurseCheung

Thanks for your comment and for sharing this important information about blood flow through the heart. You are correct that understanding the differences between oxygenated and deoxygenated blood flow in the heart is an important concept for the ATI TEAS exam. Thank you SO much, Nurse Cheung, for posting these videos! Because of your videos, I was able to pass my TEAS today. I was so nervous before taking the test, but so relieved to see I scored 91%! I got 79.5 in reading, 94.1 in math, 95.5 in science, and 100 in ELU! I definitely underestimated reading, and spent the least amount of time studying for that. To anyone who's taking the TEAS soon, definitely watch these videos! They are completely accurate and incredibly helpful! God bless. ❤

Hey, that's absolutely amazing news! 🎉 A 91% on your TEAS is a phenomenal achievement, and it sounds like you really knocked it out of the park in math, science, and ELU - and hey, 79.5 in reading is still super solid. And thank you for the shoutout to the videos - it’s so rewarding to know they were a helpful part of your study plan. Your success is a huge encouragement to others prepping for the TEAS. You're absolutely right about not underestimating any section; every part is an opportunity to shine.

Your tip about diving deeper into the recommended related topics is spot-on and invaluable advice for future test-takers. It's those little extra steps in preparation that can make a big difference in understanding and mastering the material, especially for sections as broad as science.

I’m unsure if you’re still in need of the answer , however the English and math sections came pretty easily to me. The science portion can definitely be overwhelming, especially with limited time to study. One tip that might help is to focus on understanding the underlying concepts rather than trying to memorize every single detail. If you can understand the basic principles and how they relate to each other, it can help you make educated guesses on questions that you might not know the exact answer to. Also, try to practice with as many practice questions as possible to get a sense of what types of questions might be on the exam. Best of luck on your test!

Great question Jcgurl 😊💜 You will need to know more in-depth information regarding the systems especially have an understanding of each of their functions and how they work together. Hi Morgan Collins 😊💜 Thank you for reaching out to me with your questions. I agree that the Mometrix Teas 7 book was very overwhelming. My content outline in my videos is directly from the ATI TEAS content plan, so hopefully, that will help ease your mind about what you need to study. What I would recommend is to watch my videos for context and take the practice quizzes in the Mometrix book. Read the rationales as to why answers are correct and build upon that knowledge as you progress through your study plan. English and Science tend to be the subjects that many people worry about but based on my video's feedback for version 7, it appears what I covered is consistent with what they saw on the test, and 98% of everyone has passed. I have my fingers crossed for you and wish you the best of luck 😊💜

I appreciate your videos! On my first try, I got a 76% on the ATI TEAS 7 Exam. I am assuming that is good. I needed a 58.7% and above for the radiography program, so I am happy I got above the score I needed.

Congratulations on passing the ATI TEAS 7 exam! A score of 76% is definitely a great achievement, especially considering that you only needed a score of 58.7% for the radiography program. It's great to hear that my videos were helpful in preparing you for the exam. Keep up the good work and good luck with your future studies!

i’m a weird student. i don’t like studying if the slides or my flash cards aren’t organized or aesthetically pleasing. this video was so easy on my eyes!

That's not weird at all - having well-organized and visually appealing study materials can be a huge factor in how enjoyable and effective your study sessions are! It's awesome to hear that the video was easy on your eyes and met your aesthetic needs. If you ever have suggestions or need specific types of content, feel free to share. Happy studying, and keep up the great work! 🌟📚🎨👍

Hi there! Thank you for these helpful videos! I see that you don't go super in depth with each system, for example the respiratory system and mentioned pleura fluid or the 3 lobes in the lungs and things of that sort. I have the ATI Teas manual edition 2020-2021 and it goes a little more in depth. Should I expect the ATI exam to not be as thorough as the manual is or some human anatomy courses?

Great question, andie r. 😊💜 I have received many mixed reviews regarding the questions on Human Anatomy and Physiology for the ATI TEAS V7. Some previous test takers advised that there were very few Human Anatomy and Physiology questions, but instead, there were more Chemistry questions. Some have advised that the questions for A&P were more in-depth but mostly covered the general idea of A&P concepts. It's never a bad idea to have a little bit of a deeper understanding of the A&P systems based on recent feedback. I would not use any of the previous ATI TEAS study material as the test has changed its structure, and lots of that content is no longer accurate. I hope that helps answer your question. 😊
