Bright Suns! It looks to me like the build the your own lightsaber at Star Traders in Tomorrow Land but on steroids. This vlog was fun to watch. The excitement and experience alone is worth the price for these lightsabers in Galaxy's Edge.

I've only seen the original Star Wars (a hundred years ago) but i can't stop watching all these SWGE YT videos. Guess I'll need to catch up on all the movies before heading up the freeway to D-Land. It's so awesome tho. Can't wait to go, but I need to be more informed about SW history & lore.

I am all for the experience and everything. My only concern is that the hilts may be metal but they look like painted plastic. That being said, i am still going to do it when i go next March.

They can be fully disassembled and reassembled with different parts. Thing is that you'd need to do each type twice so that's about $1600 if you want every part.

I kinda wish that during Season of the Force, they can do something to make some stuff prequel trilogy themed, for example, they can have the stormtroopers be Clone troopers and instead if Kylo Ren, it could be Darth Vader and that would fit with them still hunting down Jedi.

turn2page394 turn2page394 from the videos I’ve seen, there’s four Crystal colours to choose from (blue, green, red and violet) and there seems to be more than enough for everyone as each container has 3/4 of each colour and each “gatherer” has a container each. So unless you get unlucky and have a lot of one colours there’s more than enough crystals. Additional colours can be purchased at the outpost/shop as mentioned in the video. As well as the previously mentioned four, there’s yellow, white and (hidden in red containers) black crystals (which light up red).
On the toy: you don't have choice of hilt other than the nature one that looks like a tooth, why wasn't it done like a laser pointer or laser scope but thicker. All else. Prefect.
What if they run out of the color kyber crystal that you want in the capsule they walk around with?? Can you ask for the certain color that you want if they run out
They have multiple canisters so you can get the purple, red, green & blue crystal you desire. Plus, in Doc Ondors you can purchase a white, yellow and black crystal ( which supposedly turns your blade red ).

I don't know what Disney Imagineers use to protect the light up lightsaber *But I think reinforced rubber* *would work better than whatever* *breakable material they use for* *those lightsabers it would be much harder to break and more durable*
@@rocketgroot4311 Rubber would work for durability but would completely negate the light up effect, the blades are probably plastic or acrylic so they're translucent/rigid. Whereas rubber (even hard rubber) wouldn't stand straight up without interior supports and the biggest flaw rubber wouldn't be nearly clear/see through enough
@@rocketgroot4311 I don't know if rigid clear rubber is a thing though, no matter what it would need some sort of rigid interior structure (which would probably be clear plastic) so you would still be essentially as durable as just a plastic blade to begin with

Do they at least provide some kind of viewing gallery for the children and other family members denied entry into the assembly room? Maybe a live remote video view? I'd want to watch and enjoy the moment along with other family memvers. Imagjne arriving at you child's photo op with Mickey Mouse and being told to wait in the other room -- and btw, where DO they stick the waiting family members?

Disney Lost Boys & Girls , true. But you used to be able to build a lightsaber and collapse it and that was pretty fun tbh. You see all the chapters in the movies with their lightsabers and it’s just the handle until they activate it. I understand that would be pretty much impossible to do in real life, but this lightsaber just kinda looks like one you can get in a store for $30. No hate her anything, I think the experience it’s self is great

No these are NOT combat sabers. Too much 'force' can damage the blade.
