Yeah, definitely a clamp is missing, for desoldering you can press it onto the plate, but for resoldering you can't. REWA is amazing, no doubt about it, but this tool isn't that good and ways too expensive, you can simply make your own, just get a hair straightener, take it apart, bring it in a comfortable form and there you have two small heating plates with precise temperature control up to 250°C, if you know someone that has acces to a CNC machine, you could get some forms with clamps so it has an actual use and the deepening isn't just for looks.

i had watch REWA another video face id repair using hot air guns,iphone x earpiece speaker ribbon had a little torn..so i decided to change old ribbon to new ribbon...i followed all step to change flood iluminator and ambient light sensor but i stuck because the new ribbon soldered and glue it hard the ambient light sensor.. can't remove it easily,need more time to blow hot air guns but it also damage the ambient light sensor due to excessive heat.. can't force to pull it because it will tear it..i just success to change flood iluminator only.. ambient light sensor RIP..so,i just place it back and face id repair not success..

Habeeb Ma in my country there is one mobile repair shop chain that trained by rewa (certified by rewa) and they can repair what rewa can repair (rewa train them with newest technique). I don't know in your country.
A couple of weeks or maybe even days ago REWA uploaded a video about it, you need a new display, grind down the identification chip on its flex cable, desolder this chip from your original display and replace the one you removed from the new display by grinding.
I don't think anyone can make lower prices for this repairs than Apple does, maybe in countries where people can live a good life from three dollars a day, but not in consumities, this work takes at least one hour and has big risks to damage something and this grows the price much higher than the actual repair costs. Just give up on Apple, stop buying it, stop repairing it and those who are stupid enough to throw money in those bottomless throats should also simply buy new ones on every little defect.

It's been around for a while. REWA has at least 10 videos on face id issues that was using microsoldering though. This is so much more efficient.

Pls try to develope a programmer for the face id... would be nice to just change it out and programm it like the true tone.
I think the new tool from i2c does this. Called face id but trying to confirm with their factory.
