i hope you mean "mistakes," and not true mistakes. she did them on purpose. an actress like would've, as required, memorized the song to and fro, up and down, till kingdom come.

This is amazing, this video came up in my feed when I needed it most, I needed to make a drag performance, so now I'm channelling Lilli whilst performing Poor Unfortunate Twinks in my local drag competition.
Well, I do think she didn't seem to make that mistake appear a mistake after all!!! Very well played and has exceptionally made the audience participate to correct the mistake.. if that is what you can call a mistake. But for me, it's superbly perfect!!! The character's ALIVE!!! yeah, i had to laugh at people calling those excerpts as "mistakes." Lilli is an experienced broadway actress, with hundreds of hours devoted to memorizing lines. those "mistakes" were for effect, and it worked!
No performer's as good as covering their mistakes as she is unless they've learned how to be that good from years of experience of making mistakes and then doing their best to make it look like they meant to do that. ;D
Lol 😅 she's amazing the singing performance was on point she was funny to her presence was awesome so evil indeed exactly usula I love the Disney villans
I've watched this last year and watching it now, I never knew that she would play Sandy Cheeks in Spongebob Bway 🙂 I'm proud of how much she improved! Gurl, you slayin!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼😍
I swear to god, I was listening to this song before my dance school's Christmas party and when my mom dragged me up to sing a Christmas song, I blanked and sang this instead. Spoiler alert: It doesn't quite hit the same when you don't have the fabulous piano. I blame you for this amazing song.
I swear this comes up at like oppsite times I am watching myself or reactors to episode 2 or 3 of Hazbin that I want to bring this up. Especially now that I am still convinced Velvette is the only one of the Vs who seems redeemable or at least who would be on the hotel's side.
2:21 I can’t tell what the guy in the booth with the spotlight is thinking. He seemed pleased at first, but then he seems to be having an inner monologue where he is confused about whether he liked it or not, and by the end his face reads sorta offended a bit, like he didn’t appreciate something that just happened? When she gave the microphone to the girl after saying "What I want from you is... your voice" and she just answered OK I felt SO DAMN ANGRY. How could she NOT know the line. Fuck it, I should've been in her place, I assure you I would've got up the stage and become Ariel myself.
Can we not only appreciate not only how she handled her mistakes but how well the pianist followed her?! It was flawless!

She played off her mistakes like a G.

She was born to sing this song and this song was borne for her.
I love her “oh pathetic”
I love how Lilli handled her mistakes in character as Ursula. It just made it way more funny
finally someone who sounds right.
What does she need Ariel's voice for, hers is amazing, beautiful, and majestic. Also, if that wasn't enough she has a extraordinary sense of humor.
she's just soooooo expressive! i felt her malice to be as smooth as... pure chocolate. it's like i'm bathing in it lol
" what is the FUCKING LINE?!?!?!" I was not prepared 😹😹😹
😂😂😂 when the guy nods in agreement when she says “awe pathetic” cracks me up
I swear, if Disney does a live adaptation of the little mermaid she could play Ursula.

Well, how’d it go, 6 years later? You remember?
This is so much better than rebel wilson. By far this best cover of this I've ever seen. Great characterization, and superb voice!
Wish I were witty Coz this is a Broadway singer, Rebel is just an actor. Theres no comparing the two.
It’s literally incalculable how much I’d pay to see a full performance of TLM with her as ursula
"I SAID SHUT UP!" ICONIC!!!
THAT VOICE! DAMN GIRL, SLAY!!!!
This performance completely ruined all others versions of this song for me. Not complaining though.
@w2aternooz cuz its so good, listening to other versions just feels flat compared to this.
I hope this doesn’t include Pat Carrol’s version lmao
"aw.. Pathetic.."
I just want to mesh this version and the Titus Burgess version together. The flavor would be amazing.
