IDK why, but that lowrider just makes me smile. It is screaming for an interior though. Chain steering wheel etc.

This is coming from someone that had 13" Daytons back in the 90's but you have right & left side knock-offs on the same side. Only thing I noticed. Other then that looks like a real car. 💯

Love the wheels! Looks 100x more authentic! It's a shame that I'm debating between this and a dji mini 2 for myself for Christmas. I fly TC, so I asked redcat if they could do a roller without the radio(I don't need another useless transmitter to sit and catch dust), and they said no. Lol. Oh well. But keep it coming, as your progress is inspiring..
Oh and if you could shoot me a link for the wheels, I think I'd go ahead and buy them first..

Pegasus makes a two piece wheel, that looks pretty legit. You do have to add some glue just being they will roll. You don't have to shave your lower a arms. Drill a hole all the way through. Only downfall is the knockoffs look a lil big. So being I don't plan on taking them off. Use the nut that holds the wheels on,and take the knockoff that comes with the smaller size, tap very carefully. And it will hold on. But yes I put a dab just to hold it in place. Yes it takes away from driving it slammed, but it looks so good skating on its tippy toes!!!!

Looks like a true lowrider now they need to make a part for the front to keep the front tires straight when it's locked up
It would be so cool if it were to have a realistic spring like bounce! Guessing it would have to be a whole different set up with more weight and specific springs

Not a fan of low riders and find the suspension a bit jerky on this but is an extremely beautiful looking RC when its slammed and the new rims look fantastic! 😁👍

I absolutely love it! Those definitely set it off! A thought I had, is there any way to get the rear to go any lower at full drop? I've seen plenty of full scale sitting low low. Maybe just a miner detail
With some cutting it could be done. Just cant bring myself to do it yet, lol.

Ok looking better,now shave the door handles lose the "continental kit" rear antennas,turned down spotlights, bellflower tips and "supremes", wide whitewalls,angel hair inside the rear window with club plaque and organ pipes,french the rear tailights,maybe tint the rear side windows and pin stripe a cool line from a 60's soul sound, under dash LP player and color bar, oh yeah and flat lime green paint with purple fenderwell lights?Or not, anyway really enjoy all your video's and looking forward to more and i definetly smashed the " L " button.

There is a link to that build in the video. It’s a scratch built chassis with 4 cheap servos for suspension. A 3d printed body, 2-link front and 4 link rear suspension.

Thanks for the great videos! The Redcat / Jevries stock wires are promoted as 14” on the website. The tires look like 5.60’s and not 5.20’s though. These 13’s look good but the tires are way too low profile IMO. They don’t resemble 520’s or 155/80-13’s. Jevries makes true 13” 520 tires.
Been waiting on him to have some more available. These were the only ones around so I had to jump on them. I agree about the low pro look. But man I am happy with them.

I can only guess how much you paid for those wheels, but I think the car is reasonably priced FOR WHAT YOU ARE GETTING! It's an RC with a specific purpose! It's not fast, doesn't handle turns, but that's not what it's for! It's super cool 😎, and it looks awesome with the wheels you found!

They are mst adjustable offset, not sure what the style was called. Found them on rpp hobby
Again the hopping thing is not my jam, but the drift rims with the car in it's normal stance that is beautiful! Pop those drift tires of those rims and get some touring tires.

Thanks for the video, been eying the same wheels on eBay, time to drop another hundred in the bucket😂. Thant info on the wheel hub hex definitely helps me out. Where did you get the other hex from?
The hex I used was just a standard plastic one from pretty much every tamiya kit. You can usually find them for next to nothing on eBay. It’s maybe 2mm wider but it worked out perfectly.
Need to find them also, I've got two custom built 64s I done my self on my channel. There off a Tamiya CC01 chassis with pegasus wire wheels. Want to get these wheels before I buy a redcat 64.
