- This is a mod made by Team Revelations, the bosses were harder than Antibirth because of the boss armor for all except the sins. I really find this mod great and believe that you should check it out on the Steam Workshop. Hardest boss was Narcissus 2 because of how you fight him and his dumb regen. Also there's a weird editing glitch with Sloth so he's here twice

Its awesome that all the og recognizable bosses from vanilla got really cool frozen variants... This mod is extremely well done.
They got replaced by completely new bosses in an update.

@@shroomkid133 revelations devs should do something like "choose classic or neapolitian bosses for Glacier" or a seperate mod replacing neapolitian updatr bosses with classic ones...
Just give so many Ed McMillen vibes. The music, the designs and animations, the boss battles, it all feels like newgrounds and Super meat boy.

I agree. The glacier is cooler and is more unique than the tomb and vanilla floors. (No pun intended)

Gluttony’s tomb variant is horribly designed... ah yes, lets make it only vulnerable to traps in the room but not change the AI in any way to make it stand in the right place.
Lots of these are horrible. Did you see Sandy? Like what were they thinking putting a full heal on a tanky and overall hard boss fight?

The shields are ridiculous on all of the bosses.

Based on how really really really really REALLY hard Narcissus 2 is, I bet Narcissus 3 is a literal instant loss without some form of instakill.
You know after seeing antibirth conent getting fused into Binding of Issac: Repentance. It makes me want to see the Revelation bosses get into the main game as well.

You aren't hurting them. Isaac is playing with his 4 dead cats. The don't die, they just fall back asleep. This is so cute, but the noises are still going to haunt me.

I just wish those bosses didn't have ridiculous shields... That was the only thing that took away any enjoyments I had with this mod.
Sandy especially is BS.
Personally, I think all of these bosses are fine the way they are.
Except Tomb Pride, Tomb Gluttony, and Sandy. One of them is missing a gimmick, the other should become weakened for a moment after getting hit so the Player themselves can deal damage, and the last is able to fully heal itsself.

It seems really difficult, but really cool. I'm not sure if its still in development, but adapting it to some of the features implemented in repentance (like the bomb dispensers for Narcissus 2) could really make it less frustrating at points.
They are currently working on chapter 3 and putting chapter two in repentance
This mod is so good but the stupid boss armour on literally every boss added is enough to make me never want to play it again

Too much health, too many attacks, too fast

tbh, kinda how Revelations is as a whole. Cool ideas; tedious and unfair executions
God i totally agree the technical, graphical and musical prowess of the devs is great but good god this mod is so unfun to play, especially the alt floors those are god awful

@@twijoke2116 it's not about the difficulty. These bosses are extremely bad designed when looking at the gameplay. The music, the artwork, the concept and the attacks themselves are Amazing (by themselves) but these bosses are way too complicated and unfair. That's the reason why no one is playing revelations. Imagine these bosses being balanced the right way. This would easily surpass antibirth.

Yeah, with MAJOR reworks for all of the bosses because they aren't fun to fight at all with their shields.

I hate seeing people coping in the comments about how Repentance is harder and these bosses are cool but it's just like repentance bla bla bla
Maybe actually play the game and try to become more skilled, if this guy could do it with all this crazy shit then I'm sure that things like Mother and Dogma could be a snap.
You know, after seeing how did Ed and Kilburn messed up the Witness fight and made a visually-extremely-cool-but-actually-pretty-boring final boss(es), I sincerely consider that revelation staffs are 1000% more creative than them.
I’d say they could’ve made Witness basically the same just with Mom sounds and the name changed plus possibly more HP

@@aguy4887 well it’s not exactly an excuse for the boss being below average compared to the other final bosses, especially in the total bs department along with the arena being awkward and tiny compared to one that would be larger.
@@jacobtheorangeyoshi8710 Again, it was impossible to do the witness fight in the actual game, and yes mother is a bit unfair and crowded, but she’s still fun, a lot better then delirium, and dogma and the beast more then make up for it
@@aguy4887 While I do agree that mother is way better than delirium, that is only because delirium is basically nothing new.
And there is NO excuse and explanation about how it is impossible to make a zoom-out while someone has already done it and it is also possible to make a (albeit simple) 2D platformer in-game. Unless you give the explanation and excuse here.
Also, after thinking about the jumping gimmick in Maxwell fight, I am more than sure that the only reason they "cannot" do that, is they "don't want to".
