    So many childhood memories. Newquay holidays were fantastic. Huge stretches of golden sand. Fishing from harbour wall. Cornish cream teas, pitch and putt at Trenance , evening drinks at a pub "The Cornish Chough" , mackerel fishing. Take me back please.

    I worked as a waitress in Newquay in the sizzling summer of 1976. I will never forget that time and the friends I made.

      I only discovered the place in the early 90s, and fell in love with it instantly, such a great atmosphere then. I wanted to move down there and open some sort of burger bar, something that I was struggling to find there on my 1st visit, apart from the cardboard ones that they were selling at the Burger King, it never happened though :(
