Love your videos man. I moved to Wisconsin from Tennessee. Give the New Glarus beers a try. Spotted Cow is one I really like. I think you would enjoy it. It's dirty but tastes great.
Really like to see you do some bourbon barrel aged beers. Goose Island Bourbon Barrel Stout, Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale, New Belgium Oakspire, and there's a lot more but these are the best ones. IPA's are the nastiest beers ever made! GBO!!
Alabama Boss needs to take day trip up to Bristol VA and go to "Cascade's Draft House". 40 different taps of craft beers and an insane selection in cans & bottles.
Troy Missouri, St Louis in particular, primarily to do with the fact that there are a bunch of microbreweries right under the nose of Anheuser-Busch. In fact, there are multiple in the same neighborhood. Of the headquarters.
I've been to Soul and Spirits tap room twice, would totally recommend. They really give you a lot of secondary activities and even have a quiet room if you just want to relax with a cold one. Overall Tennessee is my number 1 pick for craft beer in a southern state. Their scene isn't as numerous as Florida or as densely populated as North Carolina, it's the bang for your bucks for me. You can find pretty much any style done extremely well, people put pride and effort into their tap rooms, and there's always a new place to check out.
Shout put Johnson City for the best beer. My friend is the head Brewer at the Johnson City Yee-Haw location. Glad you liked it. Should try the Dunkle from there if you haven't.
Mississippi. And I like a good coffee milk stout in the winter. Definitely try Buffalo Sweat vanilla if you can get it even though it's from somewhere other than MS.
@rated red May I suggest Boss try Lemongrass Wheat Ale from Outer Banks Brewing Station, as well as Sky Blue from Carolina Brewing??? Those are my two favorites when we go to the Outer Banks from Tennessee
No way! Boss likes an IPA? I'm shook.🤨 Washington State has some good breweries, and the Dry Fly distillery makes some nice whiskies. I'm partial to the Washington Wheat version.
You have to get some beer from Bearded Iris, and Southern Grist the next time you review Tennessee beers. They're my favorite two breweries in Nashville, and probably the whole state.
Editor agrees, both are excellent. Boss tried Bearded Iris in the first ever episode: th-cam.com/video/pKRQ20_UdVw/w-d-xo.html He has a Southern Grist IPA here: th-cam.com/video/jFj0CTLqeVg/w-d-xo.html
Typically Hazy Ipas are not bitter like regular IPA. Hazy are hop aroma and hop flavor minus the Bitterness. Malts are not usually overpowering that makes em easy to drink.
Pungent like a portajohn. My new go to phrase. Thank you Alabama Boss.
Right on Boss!! Lets try Wisconsin next.
