ReubenKee's characters were a fantastic middle-ground between the over-the-top MvC style of play and the much more grounded SF/CvS style of play. Looking into implementing that sort of play-style for a tag team fighter would be very interesting.
In my opinion if Strider and Cap.Comm are put in lower scale gameplay than MvC, it would be good to downscale their moveset naturally. Simply the reverse logic of how SF chars are "upscaled" in order to keep up with the rest of the MvC roster... or at least not be too underpowered. Like: in my eyes Cap.comm's ground pillar would be around the size of the earlier Power Geysers. And his projectile would be like a bigger and longer 2d Yoga Flame. And Strider's drone projectile would be a standard shoto projectile size, etc. At least that's my opinion from a time when i started wondering: what if chars like Strider are sent to a possible new CvS? In order to build a more diverse roster than the boring rosters of CvS1-2.
There's a chapter in southpark where eric cartman has a whole amusement park for himself and he was not letting anyone in, and he was so happy and the people were so eager to enter... It's just like you and your custom mugens... why are you doing this to us?
This situation has become somewhat of a recurring joke. The community has provided me with no support; instead, it has consistently undermined my efforts while simultaneously requesting favors in return. Assistance could be offered to alleviate my challenges, yet it remains absent, leaving you with no choice but to wait or wish for a favorable outcome. I find it peculiar that individuals online perceive my intentions as an attempt to provoke them, when in reality, I am simply striving to create the game I envision. Why not do the same?

CapCom (*Cap*tain *Com*mando) is just an abbreviation. Having the full name on display would also take up more screen space than is necessary. It's the reason why other characters don't have their full names as well, examples being "Strider Hiryu" or "Jin Saotome". Captain Commando used to be Capcom's mascot, so it could also be a tongue-in-cheek reference to that.
