What a wonderfully, beautiful view. I love it up there, I feel at peace here 😊

The views were tremendous, feeling so alone and at peace with yourself is one of the big attractions of the area for me personally 😊

I am viewing these wonderful vidoes from Clearwater Florida. For may years when i lived in Durham i walked nearly all of your walks and many more including The Pennine Way, The Ridgeway, The West Highland Way and The Three Peaks of Yorkshire. What you have done is given me some very nostalgic memmories. Thank you so very much, and please keep up your very good and pleasurable work.

Thank you for your kind words from Florida, it sounds like you have a lot of experience of hiking under your belt so to speak. I am glad that my videos bring back a lot of memories for you, it is a glorious area and despite no longer being in the same country it's nice to know that the North Pennines has left a positive matk in your life 😊

Crazy thing is, not only have i walked on top of the hills but under them as well. I went caving for several years with the LDSA caving club based at Leeds and Chapel le Dale. They are just as stunning under them as on top of them. Thanks for the reply. Keep up the good work.@@DuncanBaxter

Thanks, the views were lovely and the summit of Iron Band was surprisingly easy to get to from the road, as always more are planned 😊

That view took me by surprise in all honesty, it would be a lovely wild camping spot but the grouse butts 200m behind would be a bit off-putting in case they were used in the morning 😊

The waterfalls at Spurigg End that you mention are worth seeing: no access problem when I was there last. It was a few years ago mind.
I too completed the "Curry Stool quest" several years ago: a worthwile challenge.

Thanks, the waterfalls may have been accessible but there was a lot of new fencing in places so I didn't want to chance running onto private land. The Curry Stools have been a pleasure to visit and for being the only ones in England it is a shame they aren't better known, I hope they start to get more recognition soon 😊

Enjoyed that as always Duncan. I'm at long last coming up to the North Pennines in a months time, so thank you for whetting my appetite with all your videos 😀 I always enjoy the music in your films too. I was wondering, as I couldn't find anything on your channel about it or in the description below the video, but do you compose and perform it all yourself? If so, it's brilliant 👍

Thanks, I hope you enjoy your visit to the North Pennines and look forward to seeing your travels. Regarding the music yes it is all done by me, each piece specifically for the area visited in the video (hence why the same music is used in more than one video if I revisit somewhere). I always thought for somewhere as unique as the North Pennines why not make the music unique as well? So far I have composed over 2.5 hours of music for the channel, I like to think it adds something a little different to my videos 😊

Only found this channel recently. Subscribed. Deserves more patronage but keep going. You cover some of my favourite landscapes but it’s a shame you use that accursed Cu***ia pseudo name but Hey Ho I’ll be gone soon. Many thanks for the content.

Thank you for your comment, sorry for my use of the current Cumbria title, in my defence the county borders were redrawn before I was born...😉
