If you're not familiar with the man he's Dr. George Mcgavin, a renowned entomologist and a professor in Oxford University. I don't why and how he got involved in a helldivers ad but I'm all for it.

@@roempoetliar7995Honestly, most of the bugs just make the game funnier. There are definitely some that are annoying, like it's pretty easy to break the evacuation ship and get stuck, but for the most part it's just dumb visual stuff that makes you laugh when you're not trying to kill your friends.

Starship troopers 1 what a classic
Weird because in the novel there are extensive discussions on the mindset on the bugs. For example they talk about how the bugs choose to expend soldiers like the MI expends ammo.

This team went from twinstick to full 3rd person perfectly and blended Star Wars, the future scenes from Terminator 1 to salvation, EDF, Starship Troopers, and a hint of DRG in such a unique manner.

Killed my first Bile Titan today after I got off work. The feeling of loading anti-tank shells filled with democracy into the damn thing was truly euphoric.

Love that this is a reference to what happened with a documentary that Shark Week on Discovery did on the Megalodon asking scientist about like normal sharks but cutting it in a way to make it look like it was about an extinct animal.
I am loving the story and sarcasm in this game so far. This game has been so much fun so far.

In the games superstore where you can buy some armor which almost always have 5 star reviews. There is a chance you will see a 1 star review is removed and currently being investigated under treason.

Im just baffled how they went from a twin stick shooter , to a third person one with just the best gunplay I have ever played in a third person one before.
it’s pretty remarkable. i was excited for this game since the trailer. i thought it’d be really good, and it has far exceeded my already high expectations. game is amazing.
I really like how you can see the recoil crosshair, showing where your aim is bouncing to. Never seen that before.

I never trusted Mcgavin!!! I mean, except for when I was told to trust Mcgavin! But now I don't trust Mcgavin!!
with how rare co-op horde shooter are, kept alive by indie and AA. Its such a fun engaging team oriented game. from:
-Defending teamates during task based mini-puzzle solving games
-State of urgency w/ friendly fire and how vital reloads are
-"team weapons"
-Even down to its reinforcement droppods which are satisfying and a clutch when you landed on a big bug chasing your teammate.
-The Starship Trooper levels of B-comedy 😂
-Its such a power fantasy w/ how "Strategems" (support abilities) display firepower.
I appreciate the option being able to swtich to fps/3rd-person when ADS'ing and how punchy the gun sound designs are, notably the unintrusive/non-FOMO seasonpass and how premium credits are attainable thrue Side-quest, less grindy than Vermintide 2. But id appreciate it more if the game being a PC port fleshed out its optimization.
