That is a lovely summary. I often visit the north and it does offer a completely different atmosphere. I think this sums things up pretty well for those looking for a more solitary experience.
Yes, we've seen hyena for example. There is abundant prey, so I'm sure there are big cats too. We didn't happen across any during our trip, but that's just luck.
Nice videos. I have never been to a camp site. Is it easy to assemble a tent, and what are the do' s and don'ts . Will be glad to see step by step election of a tent and choosing a perfect site. Thanks

Great video as usual! You know that the north of Kruger is going to be overrun now. I didn't enjoy the north but in all honesty we didn't go as far north as you, so maybe next time we'll try further north.
We were very surprised by the area around the Livhuvhu River! The area around Punda Maria was also really good. There is a lot dense woodland though in some of the areas in the north. Hopefully it won't be overrun 😄😄 Appreciate the feedback as always 👍🏾
It is difficult to spot predators in the North since the vegetation is thicker. But it all depends on your luck, I suppose. I like it that there are usually fewer people there.
We're always on the look out but they're so elusive. Then we get back to camp and people are talking about a leopard in a tree that's apparently on the road we just came off 😅
Agreed.......I love Punda Maria and the whole area up to Pafuri and Crookes Corner...
Much less traffic than the southern areas as well. I particularly enjoyed the Levhuvhu floodplains!
