I’m spraying 3 coats of a flat grey metallic to sorta try to match a anodized/powder coated grey look on 28ft by 13ft (Semi trailer) and gahhleee I didn’t watch any videos but these videos are rest assuring 😅 I just learned the trigger trick yesterday rushing lol… Great tips!!

Yes but if the Spray Gun is also going bad the Spray Gun will spray an uneven pattern as well. Nothing last forever ever and if you don’t take care of your equipment it will get damaged and not work properly.
Great video. Thanks again for all the advice. Also the car paint job came out really good aside from the hood. I ended redoing the hood 4 time's because of wrinkles. Im still not completely sure why I kept getting wrinkles. The 3rd time I switched to a fast reducer. The 4th I gave it 2 days of drying time and brought a force heater. Well just wanted to stop by and thank you. Thanks

Yes I could’ve used a darker sealer for better coverage but for the sake of explaining the base coating process I used the lighter sealer so the base coat could be more visible to the viewer.
Every Spray Gun is different you have to make adjustments to the way your spray gun applies the paint that you’re using. Just make sure your using 20psi for basecoat applying the paint medium wet.

1:55 If your gun is heavy on the top and the bottom and light in the middle it usually too much air pressure do to thin, light base coat viscosity.

Could you used a different value shade on the sealer ? For better coverage on the base coat ?

Looked like 29 psi. ?
I use 20 psi’s for base coat and 30 psi’s for clear coat.
