I got a photon from Alien Gear's store front in Idaho. They did tell me the glock mags require the double stack due to the polymer. My 43 mag fits very well in the double stack side car.
I think I’ll try this holster. Alien Gear looks like they did a good job on this. I’m definitely not a fan of their previous work. Thanks for the video.

I had to get the double stack mag carrier for my 43x. It seems like they might have a stack and a half mag carrier but I didn’t see it. I love that it doesn’t have hot spots at all. I carry in the appendix rig set up
I bought one from bass pro and returned it the same day. For some reason mine did not click into place, all the retention came from adding a lot of pressure into the light. When I would draw my gun there would be marks and scratches on the light where the holster was adding pressure to retain it. Kind of like what happened in the video with your mags but with the actual holster for the gun.
Just got mine today and hoped on TH-cam as mines the same way as yours. I have a tulster oath and it’s so smooth in and out. The alien head one is just tight and not very smooth drawing and holstering the weapon.
@@Persuasian338 I understand. This thing just put such a death grip on the light that it was scratching it. I have a tier 1 axis elite that's smooth in and out, has that satisfying click, and carries well. Again I could've bought a bad one. From other videos I've seen the opinions are split pretty even.

I just bought a new EDC , Beretta APX-A1 Full-Size with factory Optic and my add-on Flashlight I have called Alien Holsters directly to see if they have it in stock , but they don't I don't know how long I have to wait before I choose other companies
@@godsforces1776 congrats on your retirement!! That maybe a tough one to find. I have a Beretta M9A4 with a TLR1 light and needed a left hand holster. I ended up getting a Phlstr Floodlight for it as it was designed to use the light for retention. If you aren’t running a light, look into Safariland as well. My wife carry’s one everyday with her Glock 43 and loves it.
I bought the same holster for my Glock 43x with streamlight TLR-7 Sub but I'm not very happy with the adjustment screws. The holster is scratching the flashlight, if I loosen the screws so as not to scratch the flashlight and place the gun upside down, the gun comes out of the holster, if I tighten it a little bit so the gun does not fall from the holster but scratches the flashlight on the side and enters with difficulty. Any tips?
Being that the holster holds the gun in using the flashlight, some scratches may not be avoidable. Have you checked their website for FAQ’s? Might have some advice there.

Great video! Yea you need the other mag holster. It’s a double stack mag carrier. I ordered me one yesterday.

Yeah the 43x is technically like a 1.5 stack it looks like a single but isn’t
I'm pretty sure you know by now but you suppose to specify whether double or single stack.

That's how many holster work. With a light that covers the front of the trigger guard, that's how they get the retention.

Unfortunately , Alien Holsters don't provide for most of the pistols
I haven’t looked at too many more that they make them for. Saw they had them for the Glocks that we have. What gun are you wanting one for?
