Regarding the blinking red light. It should blink forever, with or without ignition. AFAIK, it was a thing on older cars, it was used to simulate some current consumption, so it will keep the battery in a good shape. It's useless, obviously, but at least, if you see it blinking you know the battery is not dead.
Haha, ever wondered why on Lada, the ignition switch is on the left side? For cases like this, when working on the engine, you can turn it without entering the car :))
Hi, i watch your videos from a long time. I love it because i love ladas,i have a niva already like yours,exactly same colour like your. I'm from hungary and in summer times i drive to Croatia for vacation with this car. Now back your 04. I think this is connected to the wires,to avoid high current voltage or like this, or there is any immobilizer features? Or it can connected to the gas system. Maybe the electronic ignition in these car, what vintage this car,94-98?

Ja isto nekako mislim da je lažni alarm jer sam probao sve moguće kombinacije i baš uvijek treperi a auto "radi normalno" 😅
