I've heard some debate on if giving up one of the "chance for frozen orb to cast twice" for "chance to do flat shadow damage" for the 4th damage type on tal rasha is a slight improvement. Is that possible once winterglass is casting a decent amount of orbs?
It could be an option, I was using the poison for the blizz build to proc, haven't tested it myself though. It does seem like a lot of extra orbs to give up though.
Hey, thanks for the great video and guide, I'm setting it up right now, but I seem to have missed something. I know in the video you said you specced Hydra for the burn damage, but it is not set as enchantment, or on the skill bar, so how does it proc ? Cheers 🙂Edit - I've started using the build, and even with sub par gear its wokring well, and I see the Hydra proccing a lot, and call me noob, but I still cant see which mechanic is triggering it
Heya, you're welcome, it's the Fractured Winterglass that procs the conjuration summons, so it summons the Hydra along with the other ones! :D Glad it's working out for you!
@@GinDoesGaming Awesome, yeah I figured it out a few hours later as I was marvelling at the Fractured Winterglass ability, basically creating a circular motion of casting frozen orb, therefore conjurations therefore frozen orb, and the penny dropped. Build is going well, started tweaking gear, and so far cruising through every Pit I've hit so far, which I spent an hour or so on today, and got to 33 so far, and still pretty easy. I'll keep you posted, thanks again for the content and the build 🙂
Yeah it's only for the bosses for sure! For me the rest of the Pits go relatively quickly. The other option is firebolt as the enchantment so you don't have to hydra but you lose a lot of the extra ice blades.

This build is not about frozen orbs ,its about having your shield all the time, without it sorc is nothing.
Definitely gotta keep the shields up almost full time!

Hydra is too inconsistent. On my good against bosses
