How do I get the car boot to open automatically upwards instead of manually lifting it up with my hand? It is useful for when you are holding something or have arthritic hands.
Hi Dan thank you great tips & tricks. Please would u do one on changing the light bulbs on the Qashqai on the model that you have . Yes I know it can be a easy job but every car I have had there never straight forward as it seames . Theres always something that has to be done first that just complicates a light bulb change . Many thanks
Hiya just brought QASHQAI, I have 2 question ask, hope you don't mind, (1) now and then, stop/start faulty system on, can carry on driving? (2) on VEW mirror they switch button, green ligh, please if you could let me know thank you for ur time, Verdi
It does. It activates itself when on a hill, in gear and foot brake one. You'll see a green light on the dash showing a car on a hill. It'll flashes and releases after you apply gas or have foot off the brake for a few seconds.
Hi Shane, I'm not sure what size they are, I got them from Halfords after putting my registration in there finder. They are exodus aero bars with a footpack.
Ah sorry bud. So basically if you pull the stalk for main beam before getting out and locking up, they'll stay on for 25ish seconds. Also if you have Led lights you don't need any light deflectors when travelling in Europe as they are a flat beam.
I've the very some model and trim Qashqai (but 1.6 131 hp dCi) and I'm actually still astonished at how much technology they've stuffed into this car... it' _is_ a 2014 after all. We're looking to buy a new car within the next year or so and want to scale it up a bit... so we're likely going for a (newer) used Mercedes GLC 300e, 300 de or an older 350e) (after having tested BMW X3, Mercedes E300e, BMW 530 e... not Audi... too booring ;-). ... but aside from very expensive deals, where people have opted for all the (very expensive) extras, these cars simply can't keep up with the Nissan on tech. Many, actually _most_ haven't even got reverse cameras, lane assist, blind spot detection... or automatic parking for that matter. The Tekna also has a heated windshield, which practically doesn't exist on any of the German rivals. We're still going for the GLC though... mainly because it's a great ride, great quality and looks fantastic ;-) We've been happy with our Qashqais though... all three of them 🙂
What's the procedure when entering a car wash with the new quashqai automatic.
The electric roof operates just the same as the electric windows, ie 1 quick push to fully open or hold the the button down to control the opening.
Does the panoramic window itself open? 2013 nissan qashqai j10 1.5l diesel
Hi
My one does not have automatic door lock when it reaches 20mph, how do I set it up plz, mine is 2015

This feature isn't available on the J11 Qashqai. The X-Trail has it and there are retro fit kits available but they can cause damage I have seen of.

Hi Roland. I was actually thinking of doing a video on this! Look out for it soon :)
I have had my car for 3 years now, and I did not know I had heated mirrors
What a mega star you are cheers
No probs mate. I didn't know until a few months back when the rear window was frozen up, noticed as it defrosted that the mirrors cleared too!
Do you know about the Tire EZ Fill feature?
Is that the air filling monitor system? Not sure if it works on my 2014 model.

1 - get the battery tested. Fine to drive with the issue.
2 - the green light means auto dimming function is active.
@@TheQashqaiGuy thank you again for ur time
Dan what roof bars are you using ?

Hi my Nissan Quashai reverse camera does not work , it says I need a code ? Would you any Suggestion?
I guess you need to get a code, try eBay or Google it
Does this car have hill start assist please and how do you activate it?
It does. It activates itself when on a hill, in gear and foot brake one. You'll see a green light on the dash showing a car on a hill. It'll flashes and releases after you apply gas or have foot off the brake for a few seconds.
@@TheQashqaiGuy Thank you Dan, I really appreciate the advice.
Didn’t hear the info when outside the car, due to the wind 😮
I can't turn off the child lock doors even after pressing the button on the door.
Hi What's Size roof bars have you got on your Nissan

What did you say about lights when you were outside ? Too much wind noise.
