Live streaming on your phone does use your data allowance.
I dont know if your Nissan Qashqai has it, but a 2016 has it. If you press AUX button multiple times you can choose from AUX and bluetooth sound. So you can play music from your phone via bluetooth :)

Hello when my car goes on the ferry how do I lock it without without setting the alarm because the ferry rock could set the alarm off please advise Someone said just lock it with the key only and that should do it
The alarm is still set, according to the manual, but the internal sensors are off, so that if someone bumps into the car from the outside, the alarm will go off.
Hi dan the washers have packed up on my car same model and year as yours, ive been looking for the fuse, under the left dashboard cover theres a list of fuses the last one is 15 amp washer motor, but there are no fuses under there, can you help cheers Andrew
@TheQashqaiGuy the whole fuse box is missing, my car is auto and I did see a remark from someone that it may be somewhere else I'm at a loss i have a photo of the area Andrew

All the time? Obviously on start up it would be at the bottom until engine temperature raises. But if it's still at the bottom after 10 or so mins of driving then you may have a failed temp probe or sensor somewhere.
Hi Chris. If you have a 2014 model like mine, they didn't include this feature as standard so you need a module available from alli express. It's a bit fiddly to fit. If you have a 2015 or beyond model, there's a setting on the dash under vehicle settings then mirrors or locking to activate it.
Hi Phil, I believe models after 2015 have a setting you can change on the dashboard under vehicle settings. Mine being a 2014 didn't come with it so I had to buy a module off alliexpress for around £15. It was a bit fiddly as I had to work out what wire did what but I got there in the end!

Have you checked there's nothing stopping it? Stuck underneath etc? Is there any movement at all? Does the bar pull up at all to move it? Or is that stuck too?
Hi Dan, I've just bought a 2019 Qashqai Tekna, I had a Juke previously. I've bought a second hand Nissan dog guard but it has no bolts/screws and when I removed the plastic covers for the holes in the roof there is nothing in there to screw into. Any idea where I can get these fittings as Nissan don't sell them separately.. Many thanks

When I select the cruise control from the steering wheel, the cruise control settings flash up for a second on the driver display, but then disappear before I can set it, and revert to the previous dash display (I've it set at mpg). I've tucked it behind the pillars, they have a bit of give, enough to push the wire behind. Then it goes into the back of the glove box by removing the door seal slightly and putting it through there.

The alarm deactivation is not deactivate the alarm… it deactivate only the shock/ motion/ sensors.

Hi. Yeah I believe if you lock with the key, it should not set the alarm. Give it a test by doing that and then rocking the car

They should light up if your Speedos do. Maybe an issue with the unit.

I David, by speed camera aware do you mean the speed camera alerts on the nav system?

OK, so maybe try replacing the fuse with a brand new one anyway.

the 12v plug in the armrest stays live on my 17 Tekna whether the engine is running or not. It never turns off at all.
Strange, it's a well known feature among qashqai owners 🤔

@@Obbidiah that is strange. You can get a hard wire kit for most dashcams that uses a fuse.
