I flew on a Republic flight from Pittsburgh to Charlotte this June... the flight left Pittsburgh at 5:08 in the morning and landed at Charlotte just before 6:15. I sat on the side of the airplane facing east with the sole intention of catching some sunrise pictures. The whole flight was clear of clouds except on approach into charlotte but the clouds only added value to some amazing pictures! It was truly an amazing experience
As someone whose home airport was PIT growing up, I always enjoy seeing trip reports going through Pittsburgh. Would love to see the progress on the new terminal as I don't live near there anymore! Also, I enjoyed the awesome shots of Carowinds! Excellent video!

I had a brain-storm about the off-set windows in the E175. It may be so passengers in middle seat & aisle seat can see out. When the window is in-line with the seats, the person in the window seat can hog the view. End of brain-storm. I always enjoy your vids & humor.

CLT is currently going through a multi billion upgrade project which will bring a new runway, wrap arount taxiways like the one around the west end of 8R/26L at ATL as well as new parellell terminals. Will resemble ATL much more than it's current self when complete.

Excellent video as always Chris, I’ve always liked CLT, it is well laid out, has plenty of food options, great apron views, helpful staff, and probably the best dedicated regional terminal, other than the new ones at DCA, in the AA network! Charlotte is a wonderful city as well and if you check it out, I urge you to try Pinky’s Westside Grill, it’s a really cool place! Also, those views, wow!😸

I don’t believe I’ve ever flew on republic airways with sunrise views but I think it would be cool if you were to film the new future terminal in PIT when it’s completed. I wish I’ve been to CLT. I think my brother and I went with our grandpa to pick up my dad from there about 11 years ago.

You should also fly to the smallest commercial airport in the U.S. Alliance Nebraska and spend the night there like Noel Phillips did back in February 2021
