Flaps are left in the landing Configuration after landing due to icing conditions and accumulation being experienced during the approach/landing phase of that flight so the flaps have to be left as they were for landing for inspection during the post flight walk around to see if ice was accumulated on the wing and areas inside the flaps/slats. I fly the E170/175 for this airline. Love your videos. Keep it up.
Thank you for making these videos! I’m an Envoy FA and have loved watching you document your experience! My coworkers and I are grateful to hear your perspective on the inflight experience and hopefully continue to improve it. I’ll miss the 145 but maybe I’ll see you on a future 175 flight out of ORD 😁
My pleasure, thank you for providing your best service to all passengers! I’m sure many will miss the 145, but the 175 will hopefully be a nice upgrade for all.
Great video once again! I love the E175 as it is the only aircraft in the E-Jet family to have enhanced winglets which makes it stand out more. Even though I haven’t flown on this aircraft yet, it great to give us your insight on what it’s like to fly on it.
Thanks for this great video! I’ve had the chance to fly this aircraft twice in my lifetime, once in January 2022 from ORD-DCA with American Airlines and once in July 2022 from AUS-ORD, also with American and I really think it was a nice flight, even if I’m not a super big fan of American Airlines. Good video, man! Keep up the great work!
They are solid planes. I’ve flown on them with all of the legacies. For American they are the standard planes between Des Moines and Chicago O’Hare (when AA isn’t running 737s). I’ll miss the E145s but the E170/5s are a great product too (much preferred over CRJs for me). Great video!

A lot of regional airports that formerly got E145s were either switched to the CRJ or E-jets. Maybe you'll get them in a few months when the schedule changes!
It was hard to understand anything the flight attendant said. And like you said, it was weird that nobody said a word about the destination. Strange indeed. Thanks for the great video!
I'm no fan of the 175's--flown it twice on Delta IAH-MSP, MSP-MSN, unlike you, the windows were misaligned with the seat rows and both flights being full, the cabin felt cramped. I was beginning to wonder why you were flying to HPN but is was revealed at the end. How did you get to ORD from Champaign? Will we see footage of your return journey?
the irony is, Embraer specifically placed the windows so that they would perfectly align with each seat at 32" of seat pitch - it's the airline that misaligns the seats with the windows
Misaligned windows are a problem on many comercial planes, not Just E-jets! It is the Airline that makes this, it is not the original configuration of plane! Afterwards, a full plane is always cramped, precisely because of this configuration, which is always common on commercial lines with the highest demand!
Quick Question, is there anyway I can chat with you. I am a sernery developer for msfs, in other works I make airports look good for msfs. My next project is CMI. And I don't some photos of the inside, like every corner I need a picture.

Not just for inspection, but you don’t want to retract those flaps if there’s a bunch of ice accumulation, it could cause damage!
I love being an FA working these planes !! So spacious for both us and the passengers
Couldn't agree more.
Nice video man! I work as a mechanic on the E170/75s! Fun and easy to work on.
Thanks a lot man! That's great to hear, they sure are some solid planes.
I'm a big fan of your videos and especially like the personal touch you give with your experiences and memories flying different aircraft.
Thank you so much, I'll do my best to continue making these videos.
yes, flaps/slats are left down on aircraft coming in to the gate to allow aircraft maintenance to check for icining on the flaps and slats.
Great review
I love the 175.
Avião fabuloso ❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed this!!! Thank you!!!

Thank you so much! The winglets are one of the coolest features of the newer 175s

Thanks so much! I love how they provide a mainline jet feel while still being a regional. Also why I also prefer these over the CRJ.
While small and a bit bumpy, the 175 is a very capable and reliable jet.
It was great

Great video! From my regional airport (GCK) They fly the CRJ 700 I wish we got the ERJ 175

the most interesting thing on this flight the flaps is fully extended when aircraft is on the gate! not sure if this a part of de-iceing procedure
Agreed. I still am not sure why, I believe it was due to de-icing.
CAPE AIR MENTIONED RAAAAAHHHHHH
I guess when your 30 minutes late at Westchester your luck they leave the lights on for you 😊

The misaligned windows are always a problem with the E-jets. I drove to ORD from Champaign.

Made in Brazil!!!!
People’s carry looks like regular size suitcase
It may be popular with airlines, but I hate all the Embraers and Bombardiers.
We avoid American Airlines at all cost. However, glad you had a good experience.
